Hotel staff helpful, very quiet sleep
Air freshener in the hallways
Location close to metro and restaurants. Quiet hotel. Air conditioning a plus.
Room was compact.
breakfast was excellent the location was good, close to some nice bars, the metro station and in a safe neighbourhood. a quality shower, not some shabby brand that doesn't dispurse the water nicely
Good location near subway to airport and walking distance to many restaurants and on the main street (up from Bastille) there is a antique fare on the street during saturdays and sundays :)
I did not expect to such a lovely place. the staff had been very useful, tidy rooms, and even if the room was on the street side it had not been noisy at all. Underground 2-3 minutes walk. I would definitely go back.
Rather well positioned near Bastille Not noisy. Fresh & complete Breakfeast.
Rather long time to check in
they bed is really comfortable. walk to metro only 3mins, a lot of bar and restaurants around but not too noisy.
Very close to the Bastille, good restaurants, transportation
Female staff member was rather curt
Value for money and clean
Pillows and slow water drainage in bathrooms.
The location and the price
Breakfast is a little bit expensive
Wonderful location, 2 different metro stations within 5 mins. The Marias and Plac de Vogne, Bastille within 5 minutes, marvellous! The staff helpful and all spoke English. The hotel smells delicious on asking in (fig?), in the foyer and the lifts! Nice seating area in the foyer. The rooms have a kettle and coffee, tea things. Contemporary decor, fair sized bathroom. Didn't get a room with a view, but the twin room did not feel crowded (stayed with teenage niece). I got a special deal so thought the price was very fair. 5 mins walk to supermarket and somewhere to eat. Would definitely stay there again. Didn't have breakfast as thought a little expensive at 9.5 Euros each.
Sadly kept having to log back into the Wifi (so minor annoyance really). We both got woken up by other noisy parties returning to their rooms, but that is not the hotel's fault.
clean fair value reception opened 24/24
Breakfast: good bread and coffee, fair choice including croissants. Clean room, very good location near metro and bastille. Helpful staff.
No fitness area, no pre-parking area, bathroom floor is wet after shower, hearing other guests talking through the walls after midnight, tv remote not working.
Younger male staff at reception - very friendly, helpful. The location is excellent - very close to the Bastille, restaurants, cafes.
Female staff at reception was curt and cold - encountered her two or three times.
Staff werent friendly
The location is really good. The nearest metro station (Bréguet Sabin) is less than a minute walk away, Places des Vosges is 5 minutes away and Rue de Rivoli is 12 minutes from the hotel.
Don't expect a 'hello/bonjour/bye' from the hotel staff when you walk in or out the hotel during your stay, they don't notice you. The pillows on the bed are small and really hard, so next time I take my own pillow with me. Every 4 hours you need to re-register for WiFi.
The metro station was very close to the hotel, about a 45 second walk, and if you understand the paris metro traveling around was pretty easy
The staff were really in their own world... Standard French! We asked for ice to be sent to our room, but no we had to get it from reception... same goes for the iron and it also must be returned when finished using it. When we wanted the ice the staff member behind the desk rolled his eyes and huffed when he had to go behind the bar to get it. Being as polite as possible we asked for a spoon to eat our ice cream we bought from outside the hotel and the staff member said it was impossible because the restaurant was closed. Bloody ridiculous if you ask me. It really was the worst experience with customer service we have had on our two and a half month trip in Europe.. We heard the French were rude but we didn't expect this...
The location for our needs is perfect. Close to the metro and restaurents and an very busy nightlife.
The very expensive parking a few years ago I paid in this hotel half the price I paid today.
Very near metro stations which were on good lines for tourist attractions Walking distance to good bars/restaurants Clean and comfortable for a good night's sleep
Lots of building going on around and hence noisy on weekdays
The location made getting food and travelling around easy. Quiet roads at night made it easy to sleep too. Clean bathrooms.
No politeness or eagarness to help from any of the receptionists we encountered, wifi was limited, not any English TV channels - in Europe we have always had at least some sort of news channel but not here. Rooms very small and compact. Loud banging doors - they slammed every time people went out/came in so it would wake you up in the middle of the night or really early/late.
Simple, but cleen hotel. Perfect if you anyways are planning on seeing the city and not staying inside the hotel. We were walking all over the city from the hotel, but simple access with metro also. Small grocery shop just outside, and bolangerie around the corner (or two corners).
Good position near the metro, room small but clean and confortable. The hotel could be used just for one o few nights.
Very handy for the metro. Lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance.
Great plumbing nice and clean and comfortable bed.
A/c was not very effective in my room ( 105 ) No English TV news channel that I could find.
Location, wifi speed, facilities are very good.
