Campanile Perpignan Sud  

We always stay at this hotel on our way to, and back from, Spain. We always have a pichet of wine in our room, after we have arrived. To relax and not to leave the dog alone to long (he is not welcome in the bar and restaurant area, which we have no problem with). This time we could not take a pichet of wine to our room... A new management rule? The former management, a nice elderly man never had a problem with it. I honestly don't understand this. Now we have to buy a bottle in a store. The hotel does not want the money? Weird! We are now looking for an other hotel in this area for our stays.

We recently stayed at this hotel on route to Spain. Very difficult to find, our Sat-Nav did not recognise address but once found pleasant and quiet location in residential area. Room clean but very tired and desperately in need of update, toilet seat broken but quickly mended once reported. Bed extremely comfortable. Tea making facilities but very limited supplies of tea/coffee/milk. Restaurant pleasant and buffet good and tasty, Breakfast good too although food pricey.

I found it very difficult to find in the dark, there is a sign but it would be nice if it was illuminated at night and in a more prominate poasition

Air conditioning, parking, clean

Check in was at 4pm which I think is far to late. I tried to negotiate a 3pm check in with staff, but they were not flexible. They left us sat in the lounge until somebody decided the room was ready. They didn't want to accomodate us. I know perpignan is in France, but other visitors should know that the staff speak no Engilsh, or are unwilling to. Also no beer could be served as we were waiting for the room to be ready as alcohol could only be served with food - a bit silly really! The hotel is at the wrong end of town for the Rugby League stadium, 30 euro taxi ride, so probably wouldn't recommend to others for that reason.

Good location, close from the main roads, good price, very nice and helpfull staff, fantastic buffet for breakfast (try the (chocolate) croissants!!). Parking still had free spots, even at 11 pm when we made it.

We would have appreciated a hair dryer in the bathrooms and some hangers for our beach towels.

L'isolation phonique

Correct bij annulatie die we dienden te maken bij de heenreis door autopech. Zijn er dan wél geweest bij de terugreis Goede en vriendelijke service Standaard van de service gekend en je kan er op rekenen Veilige plaats voor de wagen

Restaurant biedt een ingewikkelde mogelijkheid van maaltijden. Uiteindelijk komt alles bij elkaar de prijs redelijk hoog te liggen Het aanbod is dan eerder karig vb het hors d'oevre buffet of de soberheid /hoeveelheid van het dagmenu : duidelijk meer aandacht voor de berekende kostprijs dan voor de lekkerheid van de bereiding. De restauratie is naar ons gevoel achteruit gegaan bij vorige jaren dat we er gingen. Toen was het systeem het zelfde maar belandde er nog lekkere dingen op je bord.

Bel esprit d'équipe et trés bon accueil.

Son accueil. Nous étions en famille et nous n'avons pas pu profiter des petits déjeuner ou repas afin de comparer à la pb tv. Les couettes n'étaient plus de saison un dessus de lit intermédiaire auarit été plus approprié!!!
