It was very well sign-posted and we found it easily (with the help of the guide) in spite of the darkness and poor weather. It was secure, user-friendly, comfortable, considerate and efficient. Parking was ample and access to the car was easy. The staff was very polite and helpful. The restaurant and food were good. Our dogs seemed happy too. Sleep was easy as there was little noise in the area. The rooms reserved for us were next to each other as we had requested. And price was fine, so I would recommend it as a quality hotel for stopovers and even as a base for visiting the region. I understand the whole Campanile chain is similar and we may therefore try other Campanile hotels in the future 1. I was told you could not use the phones in the rooms to communicate with other rooms. We had two rooms so such a facility would have been helpful. 2. There should be a phone guide so you know what you can use the phone for and the corresponding numbers to dial. 3. The television signal was not always reliable.

The hotel exceded our expectations in the area of comfort, value for money, free wi-fi and food ( breakfast for free for our 3 years old son) . We found the hotel easily with the navigator and it was close to the a26 which was a plus for us because we were in transit. The staff was very friendly and helpful and they supply the cotbed for our little one!

The staff and the evening meal - the choice of food was good and included home made dishes Trying to find the hotel nearly caused a divorce, talk about hidden away. It is in a retail park with conflicting directions to the motorway The whole hotel needs renovating. The room was really small and scruffy. The bed had been replaced and was very comfortable but it took up so much room that you couldn't even open the wardrobe door! The electrics were suspect where the lead to the TV was taped up to a junction box A pint of beer costs 6.50 euros and wasn't even the brand which markets itself as 'refreshingly expensive'

This is the only Campanile which I have ever stayed at which offered a family 'suite' with a separate bunk bed room. This sold it to me! The room was spacious and well equipped. It was wonderful not to have to climb over additional 'pull out beds' for the children and to have room to place suitcases etc. The hotel is not in the city centre but does not pretend to be so you need a car or knowledge of public transport to do the sights of Reims. For us, meeting family and an overnight stop it was ideal. Spoilt me for other Campaniles - and we stay in quite a lot! Anyone know of any others with a family suite??? The site was outside the city centre and in quite an industrial area. Just a bit noisy in the morning when some lorries began to come and go at about 7am.

It was very easy to find and there was plenty of parking available. The gentleman on reception gave us the code over the phone as we were going to arrive after 11pm. He was very helpful indeed. The family room was excellent, very clean and the beds were so comfortable! The breakfast was hugely disappointing - the fruit salad was rather brown and the remaining selection of food was poor.

The food at the Campanile Reims Nord was excellent. We were pleasantly surprised that a "chain" Hotel such as this could provide such outstanding food. The secure car park was a bonus.

Location was ok and a discount was reluctantky given for issue with the availability of the family room when I complained. (See below) Our original room was given to someone else so we had to spilt the family between two rooms which was incovenient after a 10 hour drive. The manager did not understand why I had an issue with having two rooms and had to be persuaded to give me a discount and agreed reluctantly. I would give the benfit od the doubt as there was a language problem as my French is not good although his English was fair. The rooms were small and lacked some facilities, e.g. plastic beakers for hot drinks instead of styrofoam as in the other room. \ Doors did not lock automatically Shutter did not have a catch. It was very noisy with a coach party of teenagers making lots of noise and no one managing them.

The location is easy to find. Hotel has a large car park that is easily accessible direct from ground floor rooms. The rooms are VERY small and not to the standard we have come to expect from Campanile. Breakfast was basic and again not up to the usual Campanile standard. Breakfast was served in a dark windowless room - not a good way to start the day!
