Hotel Campanile Roissy Charles de GaulleAllée du Verger, 95700 Roissy-en-France (Show map) Good, Score from 2118 reviews“The room was very adequate for the price. It was quiet an I slept relatively well. (I almost never sleep well anywhere). The food at the restaurant was good and priced fairly. Service was excellent. I qualify my ratings with the information that I am easy to please, but cleanliness and service are important to me. ”

Location was the only positive factor. The hotel was a mess and noisy doing renovations. Half the rooms on our floor were closed off already. Drilling over our head started at 7 am,. By 9am workers were emptying out all rooms on our floor. We could hardly get our luggage down the hall to the elevatot for beds, bedding and other furniture clutter. We had two rooms in the place. The food was mediocre at best. On the whole this was the worst accommodation we have experienced in many years of travel.

Location near interesting small town, as well as, convenience to airport and airport transit. Also, it has good restaurant. It is a good value. At times, the transport system from the airport to the hotel needs improvement. When we finally found the pick-up area, and identified the correct bus, the bus driver stopped before the pickup point and would not open the door again, even though we knocked. Many customers must stand for the 20 minutes transport, and transport to the airport can take too much time because of other stops and because there is only one drop-off point. I have stayed at the hotel 3 times. We have had persistent problems with the magnetic card key system. At times, the card is needed to use the elevator. If at the end of a long travel day, you cannot get into your room or use the elevator without returning to the service desk, customers will not be inclined to use the hotel again, even though the hotel has many good assets. Lastly, this time the desk was unstaffed which resulted in long lines, and the room had only one towel which meant getting back in that line. I recommend the hotel with reservations.

The hotel is so noisy it is like the walls are made of paper, they must be so thin, you can hear everything from adjoining rooms, every door shut, every flushing toilet even, the noise level here is intolerable, if you want a good night's sleep stay elsewhere. The food is also incredibly basic and poor for the price of it with very little choice, a place that obviously gets away with being so awful as it has a good location for the airport but I would never stay there again.

The only thing that was good about the hotel was the location to the airport, and the shuttle service. The hotel reception staff was not at all friendly. We were second in line had to wait 20+ minutes, even though there was a second staff member there just looking at computer. They gave no assistance to my wife, whom had to make 3 trips to the room to bring luggage up, while I went to return a rental car.

Convenient for the hotel. Did not think the hotel was particularly clean, especially the breakfast area where tables were sticky and the floor needed hoovered.

I really appreciated the Restaurant staff's friendliness and professionalism> Raymonde and her colleagues were very courteous and friendly. I thank them!! There should be an option of one queen size bed instead of 2 twin size beds. Bed too small.

None. Just relaxed before my international flight next am early. Althrough internet was free, it is really slow. Restaurant / hot buffet did not have one of the main dish of day left in the evening after 9 pm, making the hot buffet price not attractive for what was left to choose from. I liked better the previous Campanile choice and buffet when it comes to the reaturant that the new redesigned Campanile. The bar relocation was a good idea from the old previous location. Still good value for your money for the rooms, not so for the restaurant.

So easy to get to. Catch the free bus shuttle from top level of terminal 2 takes you right to the door. The room was very nice, quiet, didn't hear any planes. The restaurant was fantastic. The menu was a little confusing but the staff were extremely helpful. Buffet good value. Desserts were to die for. :)

It seems that there are two Campanile Hotels near the airport, which are served by two different shuttle services. Of course this is not mentioned anywhere, so if you take the wrong shuttle you are in for a extra journey of at least one hour, or a taxi juorney of 25 euro. When asked if this happened a lot, the personel confirmed with "Yes, often". When I asked how they were going to solve this, they said "They could not, it is up to the traveller to ask the shuttle driver if they are in the right shuttle" Needless to say that when you don't know there are two Campanile hotels near the airport, one gets into the first shuttle with a Campanile logo on it... 50% chance.

We stayed one night due to a layover at the airporrt. The shuttle from the airport was easy, especially the route map display on the bus. The resteraunt buffet had good with a assortment of well prepared dishes. Overall a very pleasant experience.

I guess all the hotels around Charles de Gaulle Airport are geared up for transit passengers and therefore are expensive for what you get, but if you've got an early flight you just have to put up with it.

Location for our purpose. Considering the cost of staying at this hotel, I would not have expected to have to pay 9 euros to park my car overnight, Room was comfortable, but a little run down, Room was for 4 people, but only facilities (towels, tea and coffee etc ) for 3. I knew we did not have breakfast with this booking, but at 112 euros for the night, I think it should be included.

We stayed in Paris for just 1 night, subsequently flying to Geneva, then to the mountains. The hotel's location and connections is perfect for such situations, when you are in between 2 flights, with a break of a day or two. Off the plane, pick up the luggage, then on airport's exit (terminals 2 and 3) there's a bus stop for the free shuttles going to the hotel. Trip lasts 10 minutes or so. Shuttle buses are like regular buses size, usually not crowded at all and they go in circles linking the hotels and the airport terminals (all terminals have access to the train station as well). The hotel is nice and clean, everything fits well, and looks great. Rooms are warm and pleasant, free wifi internet. We took the breakfasts as well (it's free for children) and it was good. Overall the impression was very positive and we'd recommend this hotel to others. And on the way back from Geneva we stayed again at this hotel. :)

It is 10 minutes from Charles Degaul Airport, we arrived late and departed early. The hotel is fairly new, rather spartan but suited our needs as a place to spend the night near the airport.
