- Expensive (although apparently rates vary a lot depending on the
season, advance booking notice, etc.) for what you get in return
(basic facilities, basic cleanliness, basic comfort, somewhat dated)
and the location, although not too bad, is also not exceptional
(fairly close from the highway exit but there are other better options
in the surroundings: closer to or same distance from the highway and
better quality, in some cases even quite cheaper).
- Only shower towells, no floor towells, hand towells, etc. (seems to be a French habit, also found this in other French hotels)
- Breakfast is ridiculously expensive (20 Euro for a couple(!?): in Italy, for example, it's often included in the room rate; in Portugal and Spain you can eat a three-course lunch/dinner for 10 Euro)
- Tea/coffee facilities
- if you can't find something else, it's OK for a 1-night stop while on a long-haul trip passing through the highway close-by. It's a roof and a bed after all.
