We choose the Campanile because it was near to the Vets. We were not very happy with our room as I had requested a ground floor room and we were given a room on the 1st floor. As we had booked well in advance we were disappointed. Also the room had no hairdryer or magnifying mirror, I know it is possible to borrow a hairdryer from reception but as it was raining heavily it was not possible to do so. The campaniles seem to have gone downhill in our opinion and we will possibly not go there again.

The aevertising informaation assured us of a warm welcome , this was anything but the case on checking in the person we dealt with was barely civil , not at all polite.Later on we ate at the restaurant once again proudly proclaimed as having a new and wonderful menu we ordered what was described as the menu gourmand which was anything but gourmand. The menu gave details of the many items which could accompany the main dish none of which were available the only option being chips ! The service was poor and we ended up leaving the table after not being asked if we wanted coffee and wit plates and glasses from the entree main dish and dessert uncollected. Altogether a costly and unsatisfying experience.

Convenient for people travelling on the a71. Very nice room and bathroom facilities. Free WiFi very welcome. The 'plat du jour' was a bit disappointing.

Leaving Cleaners entered both rooms whilst still asleep, Meals in resteurant expensive. Bath too small. Shower basic. Air Con not effective. Not enough pillows.

The coffee in the room. We didn't try the restaurant so can not comment on that aspect of the hotel. The airconditioning was good. There was only one pillow per person - we like two each!

When we arrived we were told that four people was not permitted and that the room already had an extra bed - and that booking.com know this. However they did let us stay. Bathroom was pretty filthy and although I stayed in a really good Campanile before this one put me off! I actually booked a triple room pluys extra bed which turned out to be a double room with extra bed and no room for the fourth person.

Good basic hotel for an overnight stop over. A bit of road noise but then the point is to stay just off the main road. Great breakfast and kids are free. Rooms a bit old fashioned but clean and basic.

Good location for stop over on long journey We specifically booked a room for 3 (adults) but the website did not make it clear that the third bed was small - not suitable for an adult. It would help if the website could be amended to indicate that a 3- person room is really 2 adults and one child. As it was one of us had an uncomfortable night and the room itself was too small to accomodate 3. Vierzon is not the most attractive town in France, though its position suited our travel arrangements for an overnight stop.

it had most things that you needed the restaurant had a good selection paper cups in room one mint tea bag one other every day we left the mint one thinking they would realise we did not like this and would replace but no still only got one of the other types also we asked for two extra pillows as there were only two all we got was one extra

Friendly staff. Parking on site not a problem although it says there is none on the description. Food is excellent, The buffet starters and deserts are enough to fill you up. No need for a main course.

Bonjour, Bien situé, calme, et restauration à 2 pas ce qui n'oblige pas à reprendre la voiture pour aller dîner. Bien à vous. Le chauffage - Dans la chambre: par ventilation, cette dernière est tres bruillante. Dans la salle de bain : 1seul "clic" à la fois pour avoir un petit radiateur qui fonctionne quelques minutes. La poignée de la porte nous est restée dans la main !!! Sinon ... tout est bien !

“What a find!! We only stayed at the Arche Hotel overnight on our way to & from the south of France and it was an excellent choice and location. The hotel was probably the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in! The staff were very friendly and helpful allowing us to place lots of vegetarian food in their fridge and freezers. We had a family room which was actually two adjoining rooms which was ideal as the kids loved having their own room and bathroom. There was an optional charge for breakfast which was excellent value for money as there was so much choice. Another plus feature was the secure undergroung parking which was excellent when you have a car full of things on display. We will definitely use the hotel again when travelling to the south coast.” Lynne, Cheadle |
