The price was reasonable
The size of the room.
Helpful, friendly lady on reception on arrival - really nice girl - made me feel welcome after long, arduous journey.
No safety grips/handles/rails for getting out of bath/shower. The bath is deep so these are needed even for the able bodied.
Very nice staff, tasty breakfest, comfortable bed, I'm very satisfied!
Why is the price of a beer so high, almost 7 euros for a large beer.We travelled from Calais and were looking forward to a drink(4 people) 2 large beers 2 small over 20 euros rip-off and totally unjustified
Proximity to other restaurants.
This place is just tired, and requires significant reinvestment. The area is a long way from town and doesn't have much appeal.
it was close the the highway so good for us as we just stayed one evening - doing a roadtrip around france with motorbikes. parking is good and safe. Breakfast is served from 6h30 in the morning so good for us as we wanted to be on the road at 7h00. as we are from South Africa the breakfast is pricy for continental breakfast. it is a hotel chain so you know what youre going to get
if you wanted to go to the "old town" for dinner its a bit of a travel. about 25 min in traffic on the bikes. but that is the only down side for us.
Pleasant situation near lake and convenient for main roads leading north and east. Helpful staff and pleasant restaurant (in typical Campanile style and menu)
Very clean and great breakfast. Location was off the A10, but not close to the city center, unless you had a car, however, an easy tram or bus ride in to the city as the people at the front desk were very helpful.
Kind of small quarters but not bad at all...just be aware.
In the morning we woke up with the noise of the glass in recycle point. This was something a little bit strange and disturbing. Thank you very much for your attention. Best regards, Vasco Braga da Costa
wifi not obvious
The room was clean and we had a good nights sleep. But the stay was spoiled by the unfriendliness of the staff.
The staff were very unhelpful and unfriendly. The food was cold and inedible. There was very little choice, and the cost of the meals was far to expensive for the quality we received.
We asked for a cool, quiet, non-smoking room. It was exactly what we had asked for, it could not have been better. The receptionist set up my wifi for me, and gave us all the information we needed for a comfortable stay, they were charming and helpful!
What's not to like?
Spacious rooms with tea and coffee facilities.
Food in restaurant a little expensive but we had the choice to eat there or else where. Next time we will go out the hotel and eat somewhere else.
Friendly staff, secure parking, easy getting out of Bordeaux if travelling North.
Not much to be honest other than it can be noisy at night as walls are thin.
Really helpful staff, both reception and restaurante
Rooms quite small
Everything about the hotel & the staff.
Will be better once the tram line is extended. Travelling by bus & tram was a bit of a drag.
Good WI-FI The room was very clean and comfy
One young female member of staff in the restaurant was very rude, she realised we were English and she thought we could not speak French, every thing we asked for was replied with "comment" and a shrug. We have been visiting France for 25 years little things like this spoil the evening, the other members of staff were great and conversed in French or English.
Staff very helpful. Reception staff could speak English but restaurant staff not too dell . It would help if I had listened in French class at school.
Hotel was easy to find in an industrial area. So weekends and evenings is quiet in the area. Bedroom was clean and beds comfortable. Good value for money with own Restaurant there.
We stayed there end of July and had a room towards the back. We had a little light by the door and the mosquitos were just everywhere. Despite being careful not opening the doors or windows, we had dozens of mosquitos in the room. We recommend mosquito-nets on doors and windows!
Clean room. well designed layout for small room Good work bench. Lots of socket outlets Easy access Easy check in
Room too small Bath was dirty around plug hole Overhanging access to 1st floor rooms made our room very dark. Made worse by close hedge outside window.
Stayed in Campanile in Carcasonne, so much better:-) wouldn't stay in Campanile Bordeaux again :-(
great location for car travelers. the center of Bordeaux is accessible also by public transport. clean rooms and comforable beds. helpfull staff at the receprion. safe free parking. ideal place to explore Bordeaux and surrounding Vine Houses. 30 min drive to Saint Emilion and 40 min drive to Pyla Dune Beach.
keep in mind that terible traffic jams at the Bordeaux beltway may bring corrections to your trip schdeule.
Friendly and helpful staff, confortable bed
Bad communication with the city centre, you need to take a bus and the tram to get there. Funny smell in the room but clean enough.
Comfortable and clean room.
Wifi very poor and breakfast too expensive.
The location was good for the airport. Accommodation very clean and comfortable.
