Good value for money. We have used the Campanile chain many times so we thought we knew what we would get. However the Campanile was the exception to the rule. When entering the room, the heating had been set to 30.c so much for the environment !!!, The room itself was poorly cleaned, the toilet was dirty and the wash basin badly cracked. The menu in the restaurant was totally confusing, when we finally ended with our choice the Lady who was taking our order wandered off halfway through to check in a new guest thus leaving us alone for 15 min.s Not the service we have had from other Campanile Hotels.

Nothing, the room was cramped and out of date including old smelly shower curtain. Our dinner was awful, they had run out of chips so tried to cook crisps!! The salmon not cooked, then returned fried to a pulp, we were not alone in returning our meals and in the end not charged. I will never stay at a Campanile again! See above, I liked nothing about this hotel other than the convenience to the tunnel, but will never choose this hotel again

Easy to use, relatively comfortable and close to the port. Having travelled to Calais from the uk by ferry, which was delayed, we were caused problems by the 11pm limit on check-in. It caused extra stress, as we finally arrived at the hotel at 10.58pm!

location close to tunnel the room was pricey for what you actually got. Also booked for 2 adults and 2 children which booking.com suggested they would accomodate only to find a travel cot for a 4 year old?????? not very good.

Chose it for proximity to tunnel. We were able to take our dog at no extra cost. Although we could take our dog into the hotel we could not take him in the restaurant. This was very inconvenient as it was raining and there was nowhere else close for us to go. The hotel is a long walk from the centre of Calais.

Not up to usual Campanile standard. Could do with a lick of paint...Looking a bit shabby. Had to make a complaint...Reception staff did not seem to be interested.

The hotel is convenient for the Dover ferries. The beds are top-quality and comfortable. The restaurant is good - much better than a similarly priced hotel less than 200 metres away.

Head waiter that was on duty on Friday 28th November needs to sort out his priorities and attitude- he refused to allow me tosit at the table of my choice. In the end I went to an outside restaurant which did allow me to choose where to sit. Enough reason not to choose this hotel again.

For a motel style budget hotel the staff was very pleasant and helpful -- they let us check in early so that I could change my clothes after the early morning ferry crossing; and when my husband dropped a tray of drinks outside our room a staff member cleared up the broken glass very thoroughly. All in all it was exactly what we wanted to explore the area and be near to the ferry. We found it rather difficult to find from the directions given on the website.

Campanile Calais was a perfectly adequate stopping over point on a long journey involving channel ferry trip. We will certainly use it again for an overnight stop. The restaurant offered good food and interesting menu. Rooms needed updating.

We chose the Hotel out of the internet, because we were on a journey to north England and we needed a break in our journey. We had a nice stay and if we will travel to England once again we will book Campanile Calais again. Thank you very much.
