Last week in August - approx £425 for a basic mobile home. You can stay a mile up the road with UK companies mobiles but expect to pay over £1000 for the same type mobile. Its a no brainer as the sea is 250 metres away and town is 10 mins walk. Some English is spoken.
mobile was basic but clean. Supermarket 10 mins away not too bad but expensive (Super U).
Peaceful site in September. Very good price for two bedroom acommodation. Easy last minute booking (we were in transit). Lovely walking at Cape Frehel and Dinan not too far either.
We had no advance warning that bedding was not included, it was not mentioned on the booking confirmation. Fortunately, we just made it in time to a shop in the village which rents out bedding for a hefty price. Saint-Cast was prettty deserted at this time of year.
We loved being 150m from the beach (La Grand Plage), and there were 6 other beaches within a short drive. The pool was clean with space and a good size to keep an eye on young children, the size was not too big and it felt safe. Also, there were no other English families, only French and some German (we like to feel like we're on holiday). Almost every evening a different food van/trailer turned up on site so we didn't feel like we had to cook for ourselves. The site was 600m from St Cast centre, perfect for walking into town to buy essentials or an ice cream. And the port is within each reach for boat trips. On Mondays a big market arrived opposite the site - a must!
