Hôtel Campo Dell'oro    

Ottima posizione vicinissimo all'aeroporto e fuori dal traffico cittadino. Camera molto grande e pulitissima, colazione con ampia scelta. Buono il ristorante.

Hotel vecchio, non si presenta benissimo, il parcheggio è tutto da rifare e anche il parco/giardino che hanno di fronte all'entrata è messo male. La hall è antiquata così come la sala da pranzo.

Comodità nel raggiungerlo ma in posizione molto defilata dalla città.

La camera ed i servizi

Stanze accoglienti, vista mare fantastica, zona tranquilla, facile da raggiungere.

La moquette nelle stanze, la mancanza del bidet, colazione troppo condizionata dall'alimentazione americana.

Hotel veramente completo. Ottima la terrazza sulla bella piscina. Giardino ampio e ben curato. La stanza famigliare era molto bella, di classe. Personale gentile e disponibile.

Tutte le stanze famigliari dell'hotel sono situate vicino agli ascensori, vecchi e molto rumorosi. Purtroppo, il loro movimento molto frequente (l'albergo ha circa 100 stanze....) soprattutto alla sera e al mattino presto rende molto fastidiosa la permanenza in camera, e difficile dormire. Un trenino passa molto vicino al retro dell'hotel, ma fortunatamente non reca molto fastidio.

Camere spaziose, un bel parco e una piscina di medie dimensioni immersa nel verde.

L'aria condizionata funziona pochissimo, e durante la notte non si può tenere aperta la finestra perchè l'albergo è a poca distanza da una strada molto trafficata e rumorosa. Non siamo stati avvisati che nell'hotel stavano facendo dei lavori di ristrutturazione per cui alle 8 di mattina venivamo svegliati dal rumore del trapano. Impossibile riposare durante il pomeriggio per il caldo, inoltre alle 14.00 la camera non era stata ancora pulita.

L'Hotel si trova all'ingresso della città di Ajaccio e per me era in una posizione ottimale, dovendo spostarmi in moto. La stanza era pulita, silenziosa e dotata di tutto ciò che avevo bisogno. Mi sono trovato molto bene, avendo già soggiornato lo scorso anno, credo che ci ritornerò.

Purtroppo l'unica cosa che non ho gradito è il fatto che l'hotel non avesse un parcheggio coperto e custodito, per il resto tutto bene.

The hotel is set just outside Ajaccio making access to the hotel easy. It's quiet and hidden behind trees. It's near a beach. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was large with a great bathroom and small balcony.

The decor is a bit tired and is in need of some refurbishment. In the room we had the carpet had seen better days! The restaurant is expensive and is nothing special. In the small village of Porticcio, you can eat really well at the Colisee where the chef is excellent and the views superb.

Clean, friendly and attentive staff, close to the beach and airport. With car you are right by the highway and can take a drive towards all the nice other beaches and destinations in Corsica! The hotel itself is alot better inside than you might expect from the first view of the front, though a bit dated in the common areas. Nice palm/garden area which pretty much conceals that its just by the main road to Ajaccio.

I realize we was in french territory, but I still would expect the knowledge of english was a little better ;) But that applies a bit for the whole of Corsica. It's really not within walking distance per se to Ajaccio (prob. 30-40 mins walk), so bus or car is a must. We had car so was not an issue for us and there is a bus station right outside the hotel though. Breakfast a bit expensive and not anything readily available as a pool bar etc for lunch snacks or similar.

Useful to have free wifi, but this kept dropping out. Could do with the bar being open all day, I got in in the afternoon but couldn't get a drink until 6pm. Lovely bathroom but just some finishing touch's lacking, and could be a bit cleaner

The room was very nice, clean and silent. Breakfast was great both because of the quality of the food and the possibility to sit outside in the garden, next to the pool. I found my stay very relaxing. Internet worked perfectly.

Downtown Ajaccio is hard to reach when walking. There is a bus stop not far from the hotel but the busses don't travel that frequently. The immediate neighborhood of the hotel does not look very interesting except maybe for the nearby beach.

We chose the hotel chiefly for its location, less than one km from the airport. It had a good swimming pool, and we also used their table tennis facilities. The bathroom was superb, with a huge shower (but see below). Our bedroom was spacious, nicely furnished, and with a sea-view balcony.

The reception and dining room staff were not particularly friendly or welcoming. At dinner we waited nearly an hour for our meal, despite several reminders to the staff. Breakfast was also very crowded and long-winded. The breakfast buffet was poor, with no baguettes (just third-rate rolls) and machine coffee and hot chocolate that were quite undrinkable. There was nowhere to put the soap or shampoo in the shower, and there was a distinct lack of privacy for someone using the lavatory. Although the airport is only three minutes' drive away the local taxis charge 20 euros for the trip. (This is not the hotel's fault, but maybe they could provide a minibus or come to a different arrangement with the taxi drivers.)

In the evening I paid 25 euro for a steak of bad quality - I had got a better quality hamburger in the town for 8.5 euro at lunchtime your website described the hotel as only having two rooms left when i booked - that was not the case -

The rooms are good but need matress . but good all around, The chef is good if you are lucky to have a dinner at the hotel.

Staff was not helpful but for one. It seems that off seasson the guest is more an anoyance that an asset. The Lobby and bar, looks dead, and if you want a drink or cofee, it seems like they have to go far away to get you to it. The service at the bar is whenever you have personal. Otherwise you have to wait. Not having any source of meal, eating, on a weekend! When Ajaccio closes everything early plus having to go very far to the city ...horrible. Should tell guests that is is far away from everything. Should tell guests that after 8 there are no taxis. Terrible care of the guests. Nobody cares.

Quelques tâches sur les moquettes mais qui n'empêche pas de passer un très bon séjour dans cet hôtel

le tapis des escaliers, le fonctionnement de la douche??? qui vous tombe sur les cheveux non protégés! plan qui mal expliqué, précisez que l'aeroport est à deux pas du lieux...la nuit ça aide .

La moquette de la chambre pas très nette, surement propre... Une modification de double lits en grand lit impossible sans passez par Booking, et au standard de booking une personne qui ne parlait pas français...
