The second room view and location
Booked almost end June ask for room in a good location but arriving there we had the opposite it was a very bad room ,then changing it second day we where asked for an extra 132€ ,,, that was the time it happened to us ( September 2011) we had the same .
- Beautiful pool - nice pool chairs - clean water - ample shallow area. - Tennis & soccer court nice. - Great view. - Driving distance to Cannes centre. - Convenient shuttle. - Nice restaurant & sports bar (they don't force you to buy something if you just want to lounge - food prices reasonable (for Cannes). - Our room had a nice balcony. - Convenient parking. - Better than a lot of hotels outside Cannes centre. - Rooms with great views if you request them!!!
- Internet service poor - they have too many people on the system - get dropped or very slow - unacceptable for this premium-cost apt-hotel. - For 12 days they could not fix router problem in our room so we had to go to the lobby - still have not received refund. Internet is another "extra" charge - Pool too busy - to make things worse they even allow people from surrounding buildings to use the pool - poor policy. Allowed? Unbelievable! - We had kids with us so pool filled with kids ok - couples should stay away :) - Alert! Booking staff don't ask you what view you want when you book. If you don't request, you could get a room without balcony or without sea view. - Limited elevator coverage - expect to lug you luggage at least part of the way - Expensive parking. - Charge a fortune for pool chairs. Should not charge at all considering room rate. - Pool should have a lap lane. - Reception access poor - no queue - staff don't keep track of people - people just bud in. Easy to fix. - Room small for the price. - Parking expensive. Conclusion: this is a 1-star hotel which has to try harder to move up.
Very nice pool, ok bar. Short distance to the beach and the city.
Too little appartment for 5 persons. Additional charges for internet.
The pool and view.
Ants, ants ants!! In the bathroom, kitchen even in the beds !!! Noisy in the mornings, the cleaners, the men doing the rubbish. You can everything going on in appartments next to you and above . Don' t agree to having to pay 4 euros for a sun lounger for half a day!! Reception also neglected to tell us the code for the gate would change at the weekend and so we couldn' t drive in on the Saturday pm and had to wait and ask other residents!
Staff, no value for money
Bigger shuttlebus is needed!!! At least 10 seats, for example vw caravelle or Renault Traffic. Would reduce queing!
- The outdoor facilities (playground and sports fields) - the shuttle - green surface treatment - laundry facility - personalized parking codes
- The swimming pool never wasn't cleaning with the vacuum cleaner - the edge of the swimming pool the grid was broken many places - dangerous - front of the apartman the walking surface - tileds are moving - irritating and dangerous - I asked the mechanic repeatedly but the shower head didn't work properly more than 1 week - if I would like to use a sunbad, I had to pay for it (I think everything is free within a closed service network in normal way) if i booked a sunbad for a half hour is 4 EUR and for 5 hours is 4 EUR - ???? - curtain was torn down when we moved in the apartman - there wasn't sun umbrella on the terrace of the apartman - the parking is too expensive - lifeguard and sports conductors are very poor
nothing where like on the picture !
Nice views and grounds.good pool.
Expensive shop. Not enough shuttle services into cannes. Quality of furniture and equipment in chalets.pool too small for the amount of guests.some dangerous electrical wires not properly covered
the place was very beautiful
there were too many hiden costs. the pictures are a false perception of the rooms. it was very small. there was no staff to bring us proper pillows as the ones we had was ruined. their brosures were not fully detailed and so we spent more money on hiden costs and unhelpful staff. there is no life guard for the pool area, a young boy was seriously injured and it took 35 mins to get the ambulans to the scene. I will not go back.
The pool is great, the view is superb.
The rooms are very small, everything has to be added to your bill once you get there, right to use pool chairs, parking, if you wish to arrive with your beds ready, breakfast, etc. Very expensive parking, they made a mistake and charged me double! The "free" bus to town is too small for the hotel so every time you find people arguing and even violent...We opted for the public bus.
View from the hotel room is great. Rooms smallish, but very well planned and functional, furnished with lot of items for storage, collapsible beds, tables, etc. Swimming pool is great. Parking garage OK, but rather expensive.
No free wifi in rooms. Check-in lady charged us, while leaving after a week extra 4€ for using sun beds at the pool! To be paid in cash with no receipt.
I was worried that I was going to be too far from the centre of Cannes but the cabs always arrived promptly and were not too expensive. We were also please to have the facility of a pool.
Location,view, pool restaurant
No air conditioning,too many stairs
The view and the pool were lovely. Great pizzas.
Having to pay for extras such as towels, sitting by the pool etc. some staff members in the bar were rude
The apartment was clean and tidy and the views from the pool area are great - none of the good points make up for the bad here though.
Thank goodness we only spent one night here, it was our worst night in Europe!! The beds are tiny and the complex was so noisy that we couldn't open our windows to get any cool air into the apartment at night. Whilst the restaurant on site has great views, it is quite expensive for average food quality - you can do much better by driving into town to get a good meal.
Staff were lovely food was brilliant and good value for money!
Rooms were smaller than we thought!
VERY VERY SMALL ROOMS
The view of the swimming pool is good. Some rooms' with sea view. Restaurant in the hotel is fair.
No air conditioner, no free wifi, no hair dryer. rooms are too small ! Photos are not real ! Location is bad, shuttle bus only have 8 seats and there is only 2 bus in one hour. The last bus service stop at 7 pm. If you miss the bus you have to take taxi or walk for 25 mins back to the hotel.
Location and enviorement
Rooms too small
Nice property, not far from Cannes nice view of sea, got a nice swimming pool facing sea, parking
breakfast not included, it starts late as well, no staff after 9 pm till 8 am , address is not mentioned completely , staff allocated us wrong room . no tissue paper or soap to clean dish, room didn't got cleaned during whole day, not enough towels were provided . they werent changed also .
very small the pictures are deceiving. I booked the 3 bed superior as we'll and we were 6 people and we were banging into each other . so tight that when you closed door they would hit the light switch. no ovens. kitchen very cramped your work top was basically the stove. no basics to wash dishes provided, no washer/ dryer .very dark and miserable inside, views are very set back and not great. a lot of walking, charged for carpark despite the whole carpark being empty. and reception were closed most the day !! we had to leave door open and no one at reception when we wanted to check out ? not even security ? would not recommend not value at all.
The grounds were beautiful. Nice for families on a budget.
We had a very disappointing experience. Toilet didn't work for 2 days, then hot water was turned off, then elevator stuck and my colleague missed her 9am MIPTV meeting. Not great for business travellers. I could go on but I won't. They comped us for one night which was good, but then said I didn't have breakfast included in my stay. Seeing as I was an irate customer, they should have offered that to me. Not cool. Despite having elevators you still need to climb stairs and walk a labyrinth to find then access your room. I was hoping to spend time here next year with my family but I definitely won't be now. I'm sure others have much better experiences.
The room was dirty, extremely badly designed, very narrow with odd placings of cupboards. Nowhere to hang clothes, no coat hangers to hang them and the staff displayed all the charmless venality and cynicism you expect in a French resort.
Pool, view, price.
Bizarre room layout, basically a collection of roomlets. Having to pay extra for wifi.
