Wonderful town with a special feel, great resturants, shops, walk among the waters edge. Very easy to wander, a little difficult to park but a good underground carpark on the central road. Will look out for chances to visit again.

We ate in Sete twice, but were twice disappointed.
We ate in Sete twice, but were twice disappointed. The town of Sete was dirty and crowded. It was difficult to park in Sete, and difficult to drive around at the time we went (July) as it was very busy on the roads. I would not visit Sete again.

I liked Sete.
I liked Sete. It was a good place to finish my bike ride from St Malo. However, it was also a bit too big and busy so a day less would have been good. Sète itself is lovely however we were in a hurry to find...
Sète itself is lovely however we were in a hurry to find somewhere to stay off the ferry and made a howling error booking La Perle Marine. Miles away from the centre in a complex resembling prison blocks. Didn't actually find the apartment so gave up. Paid up front for an apartment without bed linen and towels and very rude responses from the owner asking me to 'stop bothesays it allring them'. DO NOT BOOK LAR PERLE MARINE! Read the reviews. So great having a dedicated space ! For the week. Staff were very friendly and helpful Roof bar was a great environment (closes if there’s rain expected) roof is a open terraced area. Bus stops are outside the hotel for easily moving around Sete.
