Cap de Castel  

The hotel itself was brilliant - we had a fantastic and relaxing stay - could not fault it on anything.

The town of Puylaurens is extremely quiet. For a town of it's size, there is very little to do and see. If you want to eat out, there is nowhere within walking distance. Luckily the food at the hotel was fantastic, but a bit more choice would have been nice.

The design, location, pool and food.

This small, family run hotel is a wonderful oasis in the Languedoc. A wonderfully restored collection of buildings dating back to the 16th Century, it is an ideal stopping off point on the route to the French south coast or destination in its own right. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated in the style of the region. The staff are attentive and discreet - a perfect combination. The food is first class - Michelin starred quality at a reasonable cost. "We'll be back!"

The staff were excellent.we felt very welcome.we loved our stay and the food was so good.and eating out on the terrace was so cool.

No food on Sundays ? Why not.but Monday night our food was excellent and a nice choice of wine.

Beautiful hotel, situated in the old town part of Puylaurens with lovely peaceful terrace, garden and views. Excellent food. Friendly, welcoming and very helpful staff. A great start to our holiday and very highly recommended.

Relatively minor point, but the hotel wasn't that easy to find if you follow the googlemap/booking.com directions from Toulouse airport. We'd recommend staying on the D926 as the Avenue de Toulouse becomes the Avenue de Castres, then turning left directly up the Rue du Cap de Castel which is much more direct

Warm welcome and friendly staff; pleasant pool area and terrace with superb view; spacious and clean room, comfortable bed with good linen, and plentiful L'Occitane products.

Our allocated room was themed (Hollywood stars of the 40s and 50s) which did not seem in keeping with a French country hotel. There is a departmental road between the hotel and the view. Found the meal and the wine over-priced. Limited car parking.

Cadre + vue exceptionnels, décoration soignée et personnalisée, très originale. Profonde amabilité et grande disponibilié du personnel.

Connection wifi cahotique voir inexploitable, pas de petit dej avant 8h30 le samedi

Le cadre rustique ainsi que la finesse apportée à la décoration Sans oublier la salle de restauration et son chef cuisinier excellent aux idéeessurprenantes et délicieuses. Très bon séjour romantique à souhait, nous avons été ravis. A conseiller aux amis qui peuvent s'offrir ce petit luxe hors du temps. Merci

Direction très aimable et établissement conforme au descriptif, calme et romantique à la fois. Très bon repas accompagné d'un non moins bon vin régional.

Dommage que notre séjour c'est déroulé en hiver car en été cet endroit doit être exceptionnel !

la restauration à un prix exhorbitant pour 2 plats (entrée+plat ou plat+dessert : 35 €) cher pour une viande dure et la quantité dans l'assiette, petit déjeuner à 14 € pour un buffet à son minimum (bien que produits Bio)

leur gentillesse, la qualité des lieux, que du bien à dire de cette hôtel.

Cadre superbe, personnels très pros et très accueillant et à l'écoute, bâtisse superbe, restaurant et son chef exceptionnels, chambre spacieuse et très confortable, un havre de paix pour se ressourcer après une journée de travail, à conseiller à tout le monde, et formule étape très intéressante

Un endroit magique...

L'accueil très attentionné , la chambre gentiment meublée, le lit grand et très confortable, le repas exécuté par un très bon professionnel.

L'escalier est dur à monter les bagages, heureusement la réceptioniste nous a aidé.

Le personnel de l’établissement est remarquable et disponible. Petite structure qui permet à cet hôtel de garder un aspect familiale. Une très bonne table. Le patron de cet établissement est fort sympathique, il participe à donner à cette structure une sensation de bien être et surtout de se sentir comme chez soi. Merci pour cet agréable séjour et j’espère à très bientôt.

Dommage que le restaurant soit fermé le dimanche.

Nous avons apprécié l'acceuil particulierement chaleureux et la disponibilité du personnel..

Nous n'avons pas apprécié le manque de climatisation et la situation de la chambre au RdC coté terrasse. La ville de Puylaurens n'est pas particuliére et manque d'attrait.
