The position (close to the tram station, quite street), friendly staff at the reception desk, quick check-in and chech-out. The room (studio) was very warm (heating was functioning well)
The price was low by Strasbourg standards, but the studio was very basic - beds which looked as if taken apart from a larger set of furniture, cold empty floor, kitchen equipment run down in just one part of the kitchen - the rest was empty, floors with marks left by cigarettes, very basic bathroom - more of a student dormitory than a studio in a hotel. All was clean, but run down. Desperately needs a renovation.
I liked the wifi and facilities
The washroom is tiny and poorly ventilated.
The shower was mouldy, broken tiles in the shower which were dangerous. Generally dirty room, dusty and unclean. Very poor kitchen facilities -no kettle. When asked to move there was no room available. Spoilt our Christmas stay.
Mold on the batheroom cealing !!
Very DIRTY, No wifi, No window on the bedroom, Noisy.
Decent location. Helpful staff. Shower.
Room very small. Basic cooking items, pots and pans. No kettle. No microwave. Shower/toilet area a bit on the small side. Pillows were not good.
Bath room smelt like sewage. Chlorine cleaner did not help. "Kitchen" very poorly equipped. WiFi did not work in our room. No place to put bags in bedroom.
Comfortable room, attentive staff.
The hotel is in an isolated neighborhood. Overpriced breakfast.
a lot of space in the room, nice region, easy to reach all points of interest in city by tram/bus or by foot
no Wi-Fi connection on the 5th floor, take your shampoo and soap with you, limit of towels (1 per person)
close to center. 10 min walk you are in cathedral facilities in the room ( fridge, small kitchen ) clean room
- Spacious and accessible rooms - Good location
-Some required kitchen utilities not available -
The hotel is located in a nice neighbourhood, even though outside of the historical town centre. A tram stop is located 5 minutes walk away.
Rooms have stinking dry toilets, hidden inside the wardrobe. The rooms stink of urine. Heating is turned off during the night, even in winter. Beds are squeaky portable folding beds with poor mattresses. Wi-Fi is available only at the reception desk in a separate building.
Not much, except the price (in comparison to the other hotels during high season).
Our room had a kitchenette, which included almost nothing (one pot, 2 plates, 2 glasses...) no microwave or kettle. Dish soap, cloth or tea towel cost 3 euro extra. TV did not work. Wifi did not work in rooms. Bathroom was tiny and got wet any time the shower was used. The pillows were very small and flimsy.
wc is stinky
Good position, walking distance from the city center, receptionist speaking english french and italian languages.
really bad smell coming from the bathroom.
The breakfast was very good for the cost of it, the bed was very comfortable and the shower very hot. Very clean worth the money we paid.
The pillow was lumpy. Could not see the point of the kitchen as there wasn't enough pots to cook anything. Could of done with a kettle.
The family room and studio room were very good and a short walk to the city center to enjoy the festivities. Also was happy that staff changed one of rooms for second night.
My sons were in a twin room at rear of hotel and it was not of a similar standard to the 2 others we had. It smelled of smoke and was noisy. I had my sons sleep on the floor in my room instead. Lack of parking was an issue and expensive
We cought traffic in Paris and arrived late in night but receptionist was really nice and accommodated us without any problem. Huge room and bathroom and clean nice kitchen.
Parking place doesn ´ t cover all cars.
Spacious and comfortable Nice bed
Smelly bathroom that is probably due to sewage pipe blockage Waited 20 minutes for the receptionist to arrive when we arrived No shower head holder
Great location near city centre and European institutions, safe neighbourhood, decent breakfast, friendly staff, superb price for Strasbourg at this time of the year
WiFi isn't working
location at quiet place not far from the centre
bathroom was quite warn-down curtain was not clean
The location was satisfactory for walking into the main town
We didn't recieve a friendly welcome. We got to our room and there was a double bed a single bed and a broken cupboard. The room was cold, the bathroom was cramped and smelt of sewage the 2 days we were there. The walls are also thin so every cough, sneeze, footstep could be heard.
It was cold in Strasbourg, but it was warm in the hotel. The location is quite good and it's a quiet environment. In my room wifi was excellent.
The room had just the basic things. There was no signal on TV. I expected a kitchenette but I didn't get it.
