Hotel ideally situated for the medieval city the main reason for the visit. Food and service in the hotel very good. Lovely garden area and the pool looked good but didn't manage to use it. |

Excellent location within a short walk of the old city. The room was small but provided all the basic quality and comfort you'd expect from a Mercure. Plenty of parking space available. The breakfast room was very busy and staff seemed to be struggling to cope with the numbers. However, it was a weekend, and this is an extrmely popular destination. |

Nice Hotel and very friendly staff. Good location for the old city but maybe a little too far from the new town. Can not find any fault with this hotel and would recommend it.Foor informationTaxi from the airport costs €15 or you can take a public bus fpr €5 which will drop one off outside the hotel. The the bus ticket remains valid for public transport all that day. Maybe a little too far from the new part of Carcassone but still only a 15 minute walk once you know the way. |

The location was excellent for visiting the Cite Medieval. It was only a short walk into town, and the bus stop was outside the Port Narbonnaise and a few steps up hill from the hotel. |

Whilst the hotel was fine we were very disappointed in the response from the Receptionist Staff to our informing them that our coffee machine was broken. We were informed that it was the weekend and nothing could be done. In our view the simple solution was to swap the machine with one in an empty room or even a kettle would have sufficed. Failing these solutions an offer to bring coffee in the morning until the machine could have be mended would have been appreciated. The breakfast at 13 euros was inedible and excellent alternatives were available at cafes in the Old Town at half the price. |

We booked for dinner on the room phone and when we arrived in the Dining Room we were told there was no booking. Do you ever read these replies? |
