This is a family run hotel. They were all very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean and the bedding and towels were changed every day. Owner gave us great welcome and was very engaging. Brilliant location 100m from beach
Bed a bit soft and decor tired.
Most quintessential french hotel, and I couldn't fault the staff.
Bed bugs.. Not the cleanest of places.
Great location closed to the beach. Hotel is run by a family, very friendly and helpful.
Bed, room, and interior of the hotel need to be improved to give more comfort..
Friendly and caring staff. Value for money Location
The shower in the bathroom did not function properly. Bathroom size - inconvenient
Friendly staff, very good location.
Room had basically no windows. Room with better view cost much more :)
Good position close to the sea and a short walk to old Nice. Also close to the bus stop for Nice airport. Very helpful and friendly staff
Rather grubby and small room with ensuite to match. Not a room to spend much time in but comfortable enough as a sleeping base.
The Owner was exetremely friendly and helpful. It is a basic hotel but in an excellent location & great value for money.
Friendly atmosphere, small hotel. Friendly staff.
Host and his family were very kind
Parking space A little expensive Far from old town
Absolutely nothing the hotel was filthy
The room had mould on the walls and smelt so bad we had to move hotels. The staff also lied to you about us having a free breakfast. I wouldn't eat there in a million years. You shouldn't have anything to do with this hotel.
Lovely old school hotel with some original features, though a bit tired here and there it was full of charachter - just like the owner!
Small shower cubicle a bit small and shower head fixing broken
staff location nice and clean room
Location it's near everything.
Hotel and furniture are from years 60,the walls are very thin, the sensation is that a family has transformed their house into a hostel. It was very unpleasent when I wanted to pay cash, they told that money have been taked alredy from the card, without my permision!
Location - if you would like to stay on plage (the nearest are realy nice one) or travelling arround the city (easy to get on highway) Personal - if you try some words in france language staff are realy ok.
The old town is far away from hotel - 30 min walk. (Take lomgboards if possible;) ) Room no. 1 is larger ( I think because is for 3 person) but oriented to street a even is for 3 it is really small.
location is good
facility is just soso.
The staff were very welcoming and we were able to converse in mixed French and English (they speak French & minimal English but are patient with those who are learning French). A great location near to the Promenade de Anglais for beaches and en route for drop off/pick up by Nice airport buses. The room was compact but suited us, with air conditioning, a small balcony and a fridge for personal use. There was an en suite toilet and shower with fresh towels brought every day.
The only facility missing was a kettle and cups, but making tea probably isn't the priority when it's 30 degrees outside!
The staff is super friendly, caring, and very accomodating. The owner was very helpful with directions and was willing to help with every request I had (for cutlery, making phone calls). I spoke in French which helped, but I believe they spoke English too (but a bit limited I think). It is super close to the beach (about a 5 min. Walk). I didn't have the breakfast there because I bought my own (the mini fridge was super helpful) and the air conditioning was helpful on hot days! The wifi was also pretty quick. The hotel was close to some grocery stores and fast food restaurants.
The area was a bit loud (I faced the main street) but only when I had the balcony doors open. The bathroom could have been a bit cleaner, but wasn't too bad for an older building. The shower was a bit tight and akward (and I'm only 5'4"!) so for bigger people, it may be an issue. The location was a bit far away from the very touristy areas (ie, Place Massena) but was only about a 20 mins. Walk. If you are looking for something more in the heart of the entertainment, this hotel is not really it.
