Score from 385 reviews Good
Location, modern decor, great boulangeries and restaurants nearby.
Nice, clean, cosy, nice people.
My sigle room was extremely small. But it is okey to me, I did not spend much time in hotel.
the location and the room， have a private bathroom， very clean！
Prefect location. Quiet hotel rooms over court yard.
One of the beds (twin room) lumpy, lack of ventilation.
The beds were really comfortable. The staff was friendly, professional, and extremely helpful. Location was nice.
The breakfast was a bit pricey for the selection.
The room was beautifully appointed and extremely quiet due to soundproofing. We had a lovely view onto the tree lined street and were only metres away from the metro, cafes and restaurants. I would definitely recommend this Hotel.
Large bathroom-free wifi-front desk staff friendly and spoke English-comfortable bed-soundproof room as street very noisy-had a lift
room very small-hard to find hotel as doorway between 2 restaurants look for number on wall-no milk provided for tea/coffee-small lift only 1 with case at a time-be aware of room tax to be paid per person on leaving
Location, friendly staff
Room: tiny, had to walk under the TV to go around the bed, window faces wall. Quite depressing.
The hotel was very good and the staff was very nice.
- a little bit of dust in the room
The staff were very helpful.
The room wasn't very luxurious and for the price I was hoping for more including a safe and fridge.
The hotel staff was very helpful, and the room was spacious enough with a nice bathroom. Good location with easy acces to metro station.
I specked something more for the money i was paying, it was too expensive for what it offered. It wasn't easy to identify because it didn't have a sign outside and the reception was extremely small just a table and 2 chairs.
Close to Subway, helpful personell, not far from Quartier Latin. Small, but very nice room and bathroom. Simple, but good breakfast. Resonable price for Paris.
Can not open windows at Night as street noise is to loud, but aircon works well so ok.
Stayed in Hotel Garance 5 nights and in Hyatt Regency Place Etoile for one. Room at Hotel Garance was slightly smaller, didn't have the restaurant or bar, but was just as clean and friendly for half the price! Hotel Garance is safe, clean, close to metro and Rue de Mouffetard for meals. It allowed us to store our luggage there between visits and Henri was especially helpful when my daughter and I encountered problems.
If possible, get a room on the fifth floor or below because 6th floor has slanted ceilings and wifi is not as good there. My daughter and I are both 5'0" and found the room on the 4th floor was fine, but our room on the 6th floor was quite crowded for two of us because of the sloped ceiling.
Loved this place! It is unassuming from the street but once inside, it's brand new, modern and VERY CLEAN. Loved the location-close to everything and less touristy. Staff was friendly & very helpful. For how nice this hotel is and it's proximity to everything, it's a deal. It's our new go-to hotel in Paris.
A short walk from Notre Dame, a very stylish hotel with excellent decor and very friendly staff! Highly recommended.
Not sure why breakfast isn't included!
Excellent location for the metro and the Latin quarter. Landmarks such as the Pantheon, the Sorbonne and Notre Damn are within walking distance. A great selection of bars, bistros, cafes and restaurants are on the door step. The staff speak excellent English and are willing to share their knowledge and experience should you be in need of any assistance. The rooms are small but planned in a way that provides for a decent sized bathroom and still have some room in the main living/sleeping area. (And anyway who goes to Paris to spend time in a hotel room?) The breakfast provided is a simple continental affair with a selection of pastries, fruit, cereal and the usual tea, coffee and fruit juice.
Comfortable room in neighborhood with lots of restaurants and easy transportation to attractions. Was surprised with champagne from the staff. Very nice, thank you!
WiFi not easy to get. Traffic noise early in the morning.
We love Paris but had never explored the Latin Quarter before. By sheer luck we found the Mouffetad area and some great restaurants and a very lively ambiance. I still prefer to be in the Champs Élysées area but this was an enjoyable experience.
Lovely room but on 6th floor and therefore rather dependant on a creaky lift since the stairs were fairly precipitous and dark.
Location is very good
Rooms are too small and not very clean, the view from the window was facing the next building wall, the smell of food in the room
Location, staff, rooms were all great
Very clean room. Nicely decorated. Fully renovated interior of an old building. Good breakfast. Comfortable bed with 2 pillows for each.
The staff were friendly and accommodating and spoke English well. The hotel was a short walk from Place d'Italie, which had more Metro options.
My only negative was the size of my room. When my suitcase was on the stand, the bathroom door couldn't open all the way, so a few bumped legs.
décor location in the relaxed Latin Quarter close to metro close to good family friendly restaurants
tiny lift lack of toilets in public spaces
The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. They were there to answer every question that we had. The convenience to the metro and good eating places was wonderful. In addition, the accommodations were very comfortable and clean.
It could have been more air conditioning in some of the rooms. It was sometimes warmer than desired. The noise from the street can be distracting at times if you are a light sleeper. But this wasn't a huge problem at all since the street was pretty quite.
The staff were very very helpful and friendly at all times. the rooms were spotless. The location was ideal with great restaraunts and cafes very close.beds very comfortable and the balcony on our room was great to sit out on and watch the world go by.
The twin and double room were a bit small but the kids had no problems with that.
