Hôtel Caron  

I cannot fault this hotel apart from price. However, that said, I would happily pay it again. The staff were amazingly helpful and friendly. In a city where I could not speak the language it was so lovely to come back to the hotel where the staff would great me with a smile in French and English and never made me feel bad for having limited French. The room was impeccably clean and I was actually surprised by how warm and lovely the decor/lighting was. The free minibar was fantastic for snacks in the room and to take with me on day trips around Paris. The location of this hotel could not be beat if Marais is your location of choice. I have never stayed in a more friendly and warm place. And I usually stay at 5 star hotels. A little pricey, but totally worth it. I will stay here again, and again, and again.

Location is good if you wish to stay in Le Marais. Excellent staff, so friendly and informative.

Very friendly and helpfull staff. Rooms are small like in most Parisian hotels but well designed and very modern. There is a safe and a mini bar which is free. There is also free wifi and a broadband cable in the room if you choose to plug in your computer. Nice size flat screen tv. The hotel is in a quite street off a very busy road but the noise insulation is excellent. Good individual air con/ heating system in rooms. Great breakfast room in the basement. Breakfast is buffet and self service with good quality produce. Nespresso machine with good selection of coffees.

Staff were the best aspect of the hotel. Good english and very helpful with tips for places to eat, giving directions, suggestions, advice. Very helpful in making reservations. Hotel itself had a updated color scheme, modern facilities, spacious bathrooms. The location was great and it was very close to a metro station and several highly reviewed cafes.

The rooms can be very cramped with minimal storage areas, meaning the luggage takes up the very precious floor space. Bed is a bit firm. We looked at the floor plans and it seems the other rooms on each floor (only 3 rooms total per floor) had better space/lay out. Avoid any room that ends in "3" (we were in 23). I think the "4" rooms (as in 24, 34, etc.) had more windows and space. We felt relatively cramped. WiFi is so slow it's barely functional, but at least that is free. The "buffet style" breakfast is sparse and at euro 14 per person not a great deal.

The hotel's location couldn't have been better. It's placed in a charming area of Paris and within walking distance of all the main sites. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were small but comfortable. The only thing that would have made it perfect would have been breakfast included in the price of the room.

Small room but excellent location close to the metro and marais. Front desk staffs were very helpful and friendly. Room had free wifi and cost of room included access to their pretty decent dvd collection as well as soft drinks and water from the mini bar. A very nice touch I think.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Caron. It was in an ideal situation in the Marais, near to restaurants and shops and perfect for the metro station St Paul. The Hotel was clean, tidy and the rooms were very nice and the bed exceptionally comfortable. Nice linen, free mini bar and films on the tv in room which was much appreciated. The shower was particularly good for an man over 6'5" which is not easy to find. We would recommend this hotel to anyone.

It was very nice even it was few days but I liked the service especially Sara and the location I wanted to stay more but it was short business trip may be next time thanks a lot

It's a lovely hotel, great location, several restaurants at the square (50 meters from the hotel). Rooms are great, nice design, airco. The breakfast room is also nice designed, the food served is what you can expect. We will book this hotel for sure in the foreseeable future.

It's not really cheap, but it's real value for money.

The hotel was chic and friendly, situated ideally to see all the sites and provided a great base. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was nicely decorated and with good facilities (Inc mini bar :-) ). We loved being so close to the Seine with all it's activities and the Metro. I would definitely come back and recommend it.

There were only two things, firstly, the movies kept jumping and pausing which made it very difficult and frustrating. Lastly, the bed was very firm ( but this is a matter of choice)
