Hôtel Cartier

I loved the spacious room and its decor - simple, but warm. The desk clerk / resident manager was extremely kind and helpful. And the location is TERRIFIC - now that I've seen St. Malo, I wouldn't stay anywhere but inside the old walled city, like the Hotel Cartier! Even the lack of parking turned out to be a minor matter - the free public parking is very close; we even strolled back to the car to get a forgotten camera in just three minutes.

Exceptionaly friendly staff, very central location.

Breakfast very over priced at 11 euros , everything else very good but it should be for discounted rate of 120 euros.

The staff were very helpful with all our requests. The hotel is very well located inside the city walls.

The bathroom could have been cleaner. I even found some cigarette butts left in a cup on the balcony. The breakfast was expensive for what you received and we ate elsewhere for half the price for the other mornings.

Central location in St Malo convenient for the shops and restaurants.

Difficult to find by car as many streets are closed to traffic after 1pm until late in the evening. Car parking is also difficult and quite expensive within the Town Walls. The alternative is to park outside the walls if you can find a space and hope it doesn't rain.

Not enough tea and coffe making facilities for even 2 people. (there wre 3 of us)

Staff very friendly and honest. Great hotel and very comfortable, room is well equiped and in a quiet location but central to the good cafe's and shops. Parking very close by to the hotel.

Friendlyness of rception. Good noise suppression in the bedroom. Cleanliness of the room. Also good space.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Cartier which is in a really great central location so handy for all the shops/restaurants in St Malo.

Fantastic location just inside the citadel walls. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, free internet (they provide a cable) and tea & coffee in room make this a great place for a visit to St Malo (a great short break destination). Room to park outside for offloading luggage then a short walk to (public) car park.

Location was perfect, staff very friedly although with limited English. Excellent value for money.

There is no parking (although the public parking is closed by) and the double bed is really small.

Room was cold - couldn't get the air-conditioning to work.
