Classic, charming French hotel. Enormous comfortable bed, lovely food, very good choice at breakfast.
Very expensive drinks and wine list
Staff superb! Room was the best
Price of soft drinks and water! Coffee was terrible
Poor value for money in restaurant. Good quality but limited choice and expensive.
The bed was the most comfortable we have slept in for a long time, so big and wonderful.
No English channels on the TV except CNN which is American
Excellent restaurant with helpful staff.
Swimming pool closed on arrival. Gardens smaller than expected. Difficult to find. Photos over sell it.
Personnel Room Restaurant and Menu Spa Parking Ambiance
The menus and food were exceptional, rotating locations for meals from a wonderful patio to a fine dining room. The wines are superb - from all regions of France.
The wi-fi is annoyingly weak; travelers must use their own "hotspot."
Everything was at highest leverl: friendly, helpful staff; comfortable room; superior dinner and breakfast.
Without a gps we had trouble finding the auberge [as we did on our first visit in 1985!], but well worth the effort. We drove from nice after flight from nyc, and once we arrived everything fell into place for a wonderful start to our vacation.
Great Staff. Fantastic dining on the private garden terrace.
The restaurant is excellent !
The restaurant is excellent !
The suite is too small.
Friendly and attentive staff, wonderful atmosphere, beautiful garden, great restaurant, spa and massage .....
All the Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The French decor in the rooms is charming and beds very comfortable. The restaurant food fantastic, as is the breakfast buffet. It is our 3rd visit and we would definitely recommend it for a centrally located stay to visit many famous places in the area.
Nothing that I didn't like.
Excellent restaurant, quiet atmosphere, good location for day trips to towns in Provence
Difficult to find at first
Best dining in the Avignon area. Extremely friendly staff in Reception. Very well appointed room with great amenities.
Location is a bit of a hike from Avignon but you don't really need to leave the property if you just want to relax and soak up the serenity and fabulous food.
The attitude of the staff Cuisine
Good restaurant. Prices a little expensive.
Little bit out of the way. I felt the spa facility's and treatment room were a let down. Someone walk in on my massage from the pool, spa rooms very old and small. Hydro area looked ok, but to busy to use!!
The rooms were in a lovely court yard garden. They were large and beautiful.
There was a step in their lobby/ lounge area that I tripped over, my male friend tripped over, my female friend tripped over and fell hard, and another older lady tripped over while I was sitting there. If this was the US a white stripe would be painted at the edge of the step. With the dark tiles and dark grout it was very hard to notice and seemed to be in an arbitrary place. A handrail would signal to people that there is a step. The white paint is used every where in the US to show where there are steps that are not that obvious. My friend was hurt badly from this fall.
