Russian lady was so friendly, helpful & welcoming. Good to have private parking. Location was quiet, yet only a very pleasant walk away from the cathedral & medieval centre of Tours. We stayed in a superior room & would stay there again.
The way Sofia, the manager made us feel so welcome and did anything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. Any blemishes with the premises are easily overlooked because of this. The location is superb, although a bit difficult to find if driving.
No early morning tea facilities
The owner was very friendly and helpful, the decor and the layout of the room was good and the breakfast good value for money. It was only a quick walk or tram ride into the centre of Tours
Great parking Very nice bathroom Very clean Superior breakfast Walk to downtown

Friendly welcome. Very convenient for walking into city centre. Quiet location with private car park. Well appointed room.
Our host was charming Great location Very comfortable
the hotel comprises non fussy but comfortable rooms. The staff were very friendly. Would stay again
We liked everything about this hotel. There really is nothing to dislike.
A bit rusty in a way and a bit far from downtown.
The whole visit was really good
We missed breakfast after having a late night and when we finally went to check out at 11am the hotel staff said she had kept it for us if we would like to have it now that it was no problem. I thought that was very nice and very thoughtful as breakfast in the hotel is usually finished at 9.30am so she didn't have to be do generous
Castel Fleuri is a nice boutique hotel run by a charming couple. They were more than helpful in advising us about what to do and where to go in Tours and around. We used Tours as our base for our 4 day tour of Chateaux of the Loire Valley. It is located at a quiet neighborhood conveniently close to the Tours city center (10-12 min walk). It is clean and well looked after. The rooms are spacious and all have nice personal touches that gives them a cozy character. The hotel has a free and secure parking area which was a good plus for us as we traveled with our car from Germany. They offer a classical but elegant breakfast which was always good for a nice start of our daily tours in Loire Valley. Christophe and Marie-Andree thank you very much for your hospitality.
The internet connection was down the whole time. We were informed it was a local problem and had no connection during our stay. There is no mini bar in the rooms in case you have something to be kept cold but our hosts allocated a place for us in the hotel fridge so it was no big deal. Overall our stay at Castel Fleuri was great thanks to the location and the friendly atmosphere of the hotel.
Good nights sleep Staff Shower Car park available
No safe in the room and you have to leave your key
Very modern and clean decor esp bathroom Walking distance to city centre Reception very helpful Quiet Good parking Had wifi, tho patchy
Breakfast was a little bit lacking compared to other places but was fine.
Staff welcoming Good service Nice breakfast Very clean
No lounge No bar
Location, Location, Location and the staff. Glad I picked this hotel.
It was hot, though fortunately the temperature was bearable in the evening.
Young, new owners working hard to upgrade this hotel. Room much better than the public areas, but they have plans. Well positioned for easy access to town but quiet and with ample free parking.
Public areas need updating. Hope that new owners make enough money to carry out their plans.
This was more like motel accommodation but very quiet and a convenient stroll over the river to the old city. Staff were friendly and helpful.
You needed to have the door open to get any air into the room. No window to open.

Use GPS to get there
Great location, short walk across river into heart of Tours Off street parking Quiet, no traffic Well decorated room, clean & well presented. Good bathroom Breakfast available although we didn't have it
Breakfast room unattractive No view from bedroom window Uncomfortable pillows
Hotel location was excellent and easy to find. We were able to use the tram system to get into town although it was a short walk to the centre of the town. Our room was large and comfortable with good facilities. Ownership of the hotel has changed recently and they appear to be improving the hotel.
Breakfast needs improving.
location,parking,comfort,owners, wi fi good
We arrived late and our room was left open for us(we did email arrival time). It is just a stroll to the bottom of the road ,across the bridge and there are several Riverside restaurants and bars. The ensuite bathroom was perfect, more than we expected. The staff were really helpful,we would love to come back for a longer stay.
New owners still finding their feet, but were very helpful and willing to help. We had a budget double room, which was of average size, clean and reasonably comfortable. The bathroom small but again clean, it had a good shower and plenty of hot water. The hotel has a good size car park and is in a quiet area, just a 10 min stroll over the main bridge to the old part of the city with plenty of good restaurants.
Nothing really to dislike about the hotel. Only one negative point was that the room keys were on display to everyone to help themselves, even when reception was attended, so either keep your room key with you at all times during your stay or make sure you do not leave valuables in the room.
