The front desk staff were like our own researchers, going to great efforts to find where to see little known artists, as well as recommending and booking restaurants, while being warm and friendly. Very atmospheric building and neighborhood. In common with many Paris hotels, very small rooms. |

An honest and authentich parisian hotel located perfectly. The staff was always smiling, kind and very serviceminded. We missed the possibility of making coffee in the room. |

Brilliant location - very close to Metro and fairly quiet street off the busier main street. Room was immaculately clean and the staff very helpful. We found the room very small - there were no drawers to put your clothes in. |

It was quiet. Bed was very uncomfortable and room was very small. The previous occupant was a smoker and the room still smelled of stale cigarettes, but I left the window open for a fe hours and that cleared it. |

Hotel Castex is located in a nice neighborhood Marais and place Bastille. The metro station is very close to the hotel. Many restaurants are around and the neighborhood is safe and friendly. The breakfast in hotel is very simple and expensive. |

The location was the only good thing The beds were very uncomfortable, the room very cold and when phoning reception to ask for more heating were promptly told 'non'. It was tiny room with no bar fridge. |

excellent location in the marais area, with good restaurants nearby. clean room and bath room but very small. when we arrived they had only reserved one room not the two booked, we were given a room for four but do not reccomend this for four adults ! |
