A staff with more smiling reception cleaning ladies (too much noise the morning) A decoration not attractive and not modern room

The location is fabulous right near the Bastille metro stop for was of accessing sights. The location afforded many restaurants within or budget. The area felt safe.

There were no dislikes.

The room was quite attractively furnished. It was a tight squeeze with the suitcases as the room was very small.

The fact that you could not get any milk at all to have with your tea in the room. Milk was only available at breakfast. Breakfast with very simple, but adequate.

The location was the only thing that we enjoyed about this hotel

The room we had was so small that you could not swing a cat in it,we were unable to unpack our cases due the lack of cubboard space, the noise from the road kept us awake,the price we paid did not include the breakfast,which again was so small that more than 5 persons in the diningroom you could not move.

The Castex Hotel is in a great location. The staff were friendly and helpul and the rooms were clean and well appointed. The proximity to two metro lines within an easy five minute walk was invaluable. Great cafes and restaurants nearby.

Very close to the bastille and the downtown my room was 505 very nice and small the shower not very fuctional

They messed up my booking. Billed my card and then cancelled booking. Nobody was ready to help from their side

The location is very convenient. Staff very friendly. Rooms were comfortable and quiet, with very good beds.

Price, for a 3-star hotel, even if very comfortable, seemed high. But it's Paris...

Quiet and cosy room. Excellent location. A good bottle of wine complementary from the hotel.

Not enough storage space for two persons. As a smoker, a balcony would have been nice but going up and down the stairs was excellent exercise in the morning.

Lots of cafes, restaurants and nearby metro stops. Rooms were clean and came with a good bottle of wine. If you haven't been to Paris before you may find the rooms small, but you won't find anything bigger unless you spend big money! Very friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again.

Some may find the bed to firm but it didn't bother us.

3 minutes walk to Bastille, very convenient for visit.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights during valentine's day break. It is a small neat hotel on a narrow street & not far from Bastile Metro station. Clean hotel and Nice and friendly staff. Yet for our future Paris visit I won't book this hotel see dislikes!

Information on booking about the size of the room was incorrect. Booking site says double room 14 m2 and I measured it myself it is 10 m2 !! it si very tiny room for Parisian's standards :( this hotel is not recommended for you if you are taller than 180 cm. You could barely move around. Highly priced compared to its class and location. It is three stars hotel with no ice cube at all even for charge! Such thin is a basic in 2 stars hotels. I think tripadvisor & booking sites over rated this hotel. We booked shuttle for cdg airport early morning 6 am & it took 1:30 min to reach terminal be careful this shuttle picks up 2 to 3 times before heading to cdg

Perfect location, very close to Metro. The hotel is very clean and staff is friendly. There was complementary coffee and tea as well as a bottle of wine.

The room was small, but you'll get that anywhere in Paris.

Very convenient locatin-very close to metro and also you can easily walk to the centre- to the Louvre, for example. Very nice and helpful staff, possibility to order bus shuttle to the airport,which was very comfortable and reasonably priced. The breakfast was standard continental, but the food was good and it was not overpriced. Room was cleaned everyday and it was really quiete at night at the hotel itself except for some noise from the street one night. Room in general is small but very neat and has everything that is needed-tea and coffee facilities, tv,complimentary wine, hairdryer. And there is a supermarket very near to the hotel. All in all- good quality for the money paid. Would definitely recommend this hotel to friends going to Paris
