Castille Paris

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut. Man erreicht viele Sehenswürdigkeiten auch zu Fuss.

Es wird im Prospekt und im Internet zuviel versprochen bzw. suggeriert. Die Zimmer sind sehr klein !!. Ein Dreibettzimmer gibt es im Hotel überhaupt nicht. Ein Zweibettzimmer mit Beistellbett ist viel zu klein.

Der Aufenthalt war angenehm und das Personal zuvorkommend und kompetent.

Das Hotel ist grunsätzlich sehr schön und sehr sauber. Die zentrale Lage ist sensationell.

Das Service lässt zeitweise zu wünschen übrig. Am ersten Tag war mein Mann krank und wir versuchten am Abend "verzweifelt" das Zimmerservice in Anspruch zu nehmen und hatten 3x etwas bestellt, was nie kam. Als wir dann letztmalig gegen 10:00 Uhr nachfragen wollten, gab es kein Zimmerservice mehr - sehr kryptisch...

We can highly recomment the Castille. The location is super and on a quiet street, yet very central. Only a few minutes walk from the Madeleine metro station (hence easy to get around Paris), the Opera, Place Vendôme, and 10 minutes from the Louvre. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, and the concierge was great, offering accurate and good advice on restaurants, activities, etc. Super breakfast and very nice dinner in their Italian restaurant.

Missed a clothes rack or something to hang our outer jackets etc. You don't want to put outer clothing the closet with the rest of the clean clothes, and with no where to hang it, it had to be thrown onto the chair.

We had a Junior Suite for family of 4 which was perfect so adults could have private space. Room was clean and beautifully decorated with large bathroom

We picked this hotel for the 4 Star Rating, location and "air conditioning";however, the air conditioning was not working at all for the 2 nights we stayed. Temperatures were 85F in Paris. Not good for sleeping comfortably.

The matresses are of class never had a comfortable sleep like this before and have never experienced such a comfort, amazing

The hotel staff was amazing. They were are very helpful and polite. Speak to Nicolas at the bar, he can give you great recommendations for food and spirit near by. I have stayed at no less than 10 different "4 star" hotels in Paris and this is by far and away the best of them all.

yes, they charged me twice. I still haven't been able to work this out, but will go to my bank today.

we ordered room service breakfast and when we checked out they said fruit salad was not included in the price even though it was on the room service menu

the location is very convenient. within walking distance to shopping streets and two underground stations.

I asked for a non-smoking room but when I checked in, there was strong smell of cigarettes in the room. The towels were all with the smoke smell. The carpet was not clean. IThere was no kettle and I have to ask for hot water every night and it took half an hour to get me two bottles of hot water. in general, the staff are friendly. The conceige is also helpful.
