The central location meant we could get to all the major tourist sites quickly and easily. The main shopping area was also easily reached. The rooms were too hot - it was quite warm in Paris while we were there (end October) but the heating couldn't be adjusted and even with the windows wide open, it was difficult to sleep. |

Got upgraded in byside 4* due to some overbooking (Astra Opera) so pretty convenient! Hotel Staff tried to give my wife and I a single room for a double use...I've always thought hotelkeepers used to do the contrary! ;-). When asking to get a "real" double room, frontdesk officer told me this was... But having worked in hotel business in Paris I do know how to recognize a single room (Price list behind the room door mentionning room rate), the most significant being the bathroom set up for one! So far for staff honesty which gives precise idea of how tourists are considered here. |

The staff were helpful, the room clean and pretty big for europe, the bed comfy, the bathroom clean and roomy. The elevator broke for 4 days until I checked out. It would be better if there was a fridge and water boiler. |

The room was clean, comfortable, and air conditioned. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, within easy walking distance to the Roissy airport bus and the Grands Boulevards. |

The place is convenient. 5-10 minute walk to Auber & Opera stations. It is also closed to Printemps & Galeries Lafayete. There are a number of restaurants, a pharmacy shop, a bakery & a small supermarket as well on the same street. It charges eur30 per nite for my 8-yr-old child was unreasonable, as she didn't have extra bed & they only mentioned it when we checked out. |

We only stayed one night because there was a fault with the hot water, however the staff was happy to locate us in their sister hotel which is literally next door (it was a 4 star hotel charging over 500 euros a night) with no extra charge!!! However the Caumartin Hotel has an excelent location, just 10 min walk from Concorde and couple of minutes from 2 or 3 metro stations. the breakfast was quite expensive but there are so many different cafes around there is no point of eating at the hotel. |

the hotel was in an excellent position in paris, it has been recently renovated and the rooms are bigger then a normal room in a paris's hotel. the bathroom was big and really clean. There was a little problem with the warm water (not in our room but in the upper floor) and the staff give us the chence to change the hotel with the near Astra (4 stars). |

I liked that it was very near two different metro stops-- Opera and Havre Caumartin. Its in a smaller street but lots of cafes and bars in the vicinity. The restaurants in front of the hotel were good too---Check out the Chinese restaurant just across the hotel, one of the most authentic Asian food I've had in a long time in Europe. Everything was ok except for a couple of things. The corridors were a bit claustrophobic but the room as aptly spaced for a Parisian hotel. There was a problem with the air conditioning that they couldn't do anything about as well... I did not enjoy taking a shower with this pointless glass partition that kept moving and didn't really even keep the water from splashing outside the tub. |

I was satisfied with commodious room. (room number 22)Because it was a small room, even the same price : in other hotels. and, location was very good! If it is this price including breakfast, it is perfect. |
