The staff, the readyness to solve the problem of my reservation (I reserved by mistake for a diferent month), the courtesy of everybody, and the confort of the general living room with free drinks (water, juices, snacks etc) available. Both Astra (where I in fact stayed) and Coumartin Ópera work in good coordination and offer very good services. The shower box. It could have a better protection to avoid water spilling out.

Well located, affordable price. Room was very small, I felt like in a closet. Was not able to turn off the heating, had to open the window. Slow internet access with ridiculous download limitations, I had to ask several times for new access codes. Prohibitive breakfast price.

Location is wonderful. The room was simple but relatively big and in Paris this is not obvious The internet was not operational and no one bothered to repair it for the 3 nights we stayed in the hotel. Shower was not comfortable as it was situated in the bath with a very not safe access.

Location. One of the worst hotels in Paris. All hotels are old but most have gone very good interior renovations. Not this one. Could never get a 'straight' hot shower(water came out cold and hot at times). The elevator bounces every time it stops at each floor(potentially can injure your knees). Colette (receptionist) was nice or rude depending on her mood. Never again.

Literally one stonethrow from Galerie and Printemps, very central and connected both to Metro and rer. I got a huge room for Paris (I asked in the morning, and in fact I got one of the biggest rooms in the hotel..) Very nice and clean. The sheets had a plastic under it. I hate that.

The hotel is really very close to Opera and Printemps is almost across the road. The hotel staff is rather polite. They were kind enough to give electric kettle and tea bags when it was requested as its not envisaged in the room. Free wifi. I have indicated in the booking a single room. It would have been better if I wrote double as the price was more or less the same. The room was extremely tiny with small single bed. The bathroom was also very small. The toilet couldnt be used in a normal way as there is no space in the front even to put the legs.
