Friendly and helpful, English-speaking staff. Good central location, ideal for visiting Reims Cathedral.

A little 'run down'. Bathroom needed sprucing up (even for a 2 star hotel).

Perfect service.

I had not any problems during my stay in Reims.

- Good location to downtown shops and restaurants within minutes of walk. - Good price for the quality, but with room for improvement.

- Shower stall a bit too small. - The shower stall on the floor above leaks into this shower stall. - Did not change bathroom towels every day. - Poor soundproofing. - No front desk service on Sunday.

English spoken without French contempt. Rooms were spacious for the price. OLd world charm.

Rear exit had no handle. You have to mention something!

The bed was uncomfortable and I was awoken several times by yelling in the streets. Investing in some soundproofing would go a long way!

Good location, an easy walk to all the city sites and train station, and it was quiet.

Our room was not very clean and the toilet smelled sooooo bad. It did not appear that it had been swept, vacuumed, or dusted. There were bread crumbs on the desk. Our room had a window on an inner courtyard that was ugly and the hotel had not bothered to pick up the beer bottle that people used as an ashtray. Yeck. Put some plants in the courtyard, clean it, buy and use some cleaning supplies and a vacuum. Also, the door you must use to enter after 20:00 has no handle. We had to put our finger in the hole where a handle should be, pull it open about half an inch, hook our fingers around the door and pull very hard to get it open. How stupid and cheap is this place?

My room had a window that opened into a kind of well between the buildings. If you opened the window, the room smelt stale, of the rotting detritus in the well floor. If you didn't open the window the room was stiflingly hot. The shower was minute - if you drew the shower curtain you couldn't wash without it clinging to you. Ask to see the room first.

It was clean, good value and convenient.

In the shower the hot water came out of the cold tap and vice versa.

Location - right in the middle of the centre of town -

No wifi reception in room - reception at ground floor was poor as well

Friendly staff, good price-quality ratio

A small and friendly 2* hotel right in the centre of Reims, ideal for visiting the city and cathedral. The room I occupied was a reasonable size and had all necessary facilities to ensure a comfortable stay for 3 nights. It was clean and tidy with fresh towels and daily maid service. The concierge was helpful and spoke English as well as French. Breakfast was optional and standard continental style, but there are many cafes nearby if you prefer something different. Altogether a very pleasant stay and I would book there again.

The location and price. It is located in the centre of the city and next to a public parking garage that has reasonable prices. The room was big enough and the bathroom had hot water! The price for the room is very good! Good for one night.

The width of the bathroom is very small, so the actual toilet is facing the bathroom door, and if you are tall I am afraid you will not be able to close the door because your legs would be on the way. The mattress of the bed is really old, it needs to be change! It had a slope in the middle, so you will always get to it. If you suffer from back pain then this is not good for you.

I had a problem when I left 7am The lift was not workiing so i had walk out off a side door

Hotel Cecyl was perfect for what I needed.. A nice place to sleep with easy access to the train station as well as the centre city... Met everything that was expected.... And was pleasantly surprised for the budget as well.

Excellent emplacement, 50e pour avoir une chambre en plein centre de Reims

L accueil du serveur au téléphone avec une de ses connaissances et qui a continué à discuter alors qu un client était arrivé (discussion de 2 a 3 minutes) Sinon, la propreté très moyenne, les finitions non réalisées etc.

Accueil. Prix correct compte tenu de la situation géographique excellente (Centre ville). Parking payant à proximité.

Chambre un peu vétuste (plafonds, revêtements muraux).

L'emplacement

Après trois semaines dans un hotel on commence à trouver des failles. Donc, on m'a mis du 4ème au 2ème et là, à moi les bruits de plafond, d'écoulement d'eau des 3èmes et 4ème étages. Des toilettes avec plusieurs années de calcaire sur les parois, un rideau de douche douteux, des coins non balayés etc. De plus il faut demander du papier wc car la femme de chambre ne se soucie pas de savoir si il y en aura assez et il faut laisser les serviettes en boule par terre si l'on veut en avoir des propres. Enfin, le petit déjeuner n'étant pas servi avant 7h30 voire 8h le lundi il faut aller dehors pour déjeuner.
