The Danieli Hotel is at the heart of Avignon Old Town, a quarter mile from the Palais des Papes and a 10-minute walk from the Pont d'Avignon bridge.

Le Médiéval is in a former cardinal's palace in the historic center of Avignon. This 17th-century building is a 5-minute walk from the Popes Palace and features a floral patio with a fountain.

Situated on a tranquil street in Avignon’s city center, Hotel d'Angleterre offers accommodations equipped with modern amenities. A continental breakfast is served and free Wi-Fi access is available.

The room is very nice and the location is located nearby train station
Lovely courtyard dining area and the bedroom which had been completed was very good. Staff helpful and friendly.
Family suite was a couple of very basic rooms which clearly needed work. On one landing there was a 'fire exit' -simply an insecurely taped doorway beneath which was a 3 story drop! Also the front entrance was very shabby and much in need of renovation.
Good location, excellent staff.
Lots of things needs attention in the room.
Location excellent for getting around sites and transport. Superior room in new part spacious and modern. Staff on desk very helpful
Wifi in room slow and intermittent but ok in courtyard
The home feeling and care for details
location, nice welcoming young staff, good advice for what to do in the city, room was recent and charming, light and bright room, TV, boiler and herbal tea in room,
no lift in one of the buildings (not great if you're at the 4th floor with luggage), breakfast too expensive compared to nearby shops, wifi was not working well and needs an annoying "login"
The friendly staff. Very helpful. The location was brilliant - near the station and very central to the town. The room was very cosy. The breakfast was nice - coffee bread, croissants ham and cheese. A lovely courtyard for eating breakfast.
The light in my room was broken - it went out every five minutes
Room extremely small
The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Room was decent and good value for 2 adults and 2 kids albeit a little small. The croissants and pain au chocolat for breakfast tasted good.
The room was quite hot at night in summer. There was an air-con but it did not cool the room very much.
This little hotel is a very surprising package. The location is fantastic - walking distance to most attractions. The property is currently being upgraded and our room was done in the shabby chic French style. It overlooked the central courtyard. Rooms are small compared to Australian standards but have everything you need. The breakfast was excellent value.
There is no on site parking if you arrive by car. Cigarette smoking is still alive and well in France so if this worries you do not book a room faceing courtyard.
Very helpful staff. Lovely room. Clean, tidy and good size.
Work going on in the hotel so a little noise - not too bad.
City Center, near Avignon Central Station, friendly staff, buffet breakfast good ( french standard).
the hotel is partly under renovation, but I understand that the hotel is open during the renovation.
Everything. We would thoroughly recommend the Hotel Central to our friends as an excellent place to stopover in Avignon.
Nothing. An excellent hotel.
I think for €10 the breakfast could have a been a bit more substantial. *Would strongly recommend owners update property photos on booking.com as the photos are a bit dates and doesn't at all reflect how the hotel looks now.
Location in centre of town
Rooms were small
Good location. Recently renovated, new carpet, new facilities in the bathroom.
Staff don't speak English. No lift. We stayed there for only one night, and there was a malfunction in the hot water system. We could not take shower after a long tired and sweaty day...
Excellent location, spotless rooms amazing breakfast, great staff.
only thing lacking, no lifts.
We loved the location! So.... how do we say: central! Perfect for walking the city~ Day staff went out of their way to be helpful, le petit dejéuner was one of our best (ahhh, those croissants! the abricot confiture! jambon!) Love the potential, as they are doing renovations and expanding their room capacities (even construction workers were considerate and careful and friendly!), and the price was right!
It wasn't dislike, but an awareness and ability to accept the noise and dust that was part and parcel with the renovations... after all, it was part of the adventure!
The staff were fantastic, helping us in many ways, including staying up when we arrived at 1:30 am! The rooms were beautifully decorated and extremely clean. We loved this hotel.
There was no lift at the time we stayed, however there were renovations underway including a lift. So the only negative will soon be fixed and become another positive.
The front door was cracked and the hotel is undergoing major addition and renovation. At first I thought this must be a mistake. We went in the front door and were met by a pretty courtyard and a smiling ,very pleasant receptionist. The location and the people couldn't have been better. Our room was on the fourth floor with no elevator but they carried our bags up for us and the room was very comfortable and fresh. although we saw the construction work, they did not start so early as to disturb us. Again I think what makes a place is the staff and they were all great- so helpful. I would definitely recommend it and stay there again .
No elevator but as I said they carried our bags up for us and we needed the exercise anyway
the hotel very near the station and easy to reach. the people there are nice and very helpful on booking the local tour.
there were quite a lot of mosquito and be bite seriously due to the hotel rennovation. the room is quite small not enough space putting 2 luggages, toilet without ventilation.
If you need to know where to repair your bike, these guys will really help!
The staff were very friendly and helpful. They were happy to bring my large bag up and down my first-floor room, and I was sooo grateful. The location was EXCELLENT, just next door to the Tourist Office and 3-5 minutes' walk to the train station, and since Avignon is tiny, I think it's more important to be next to the train station than the heart of town. I think the price should be a bit lower, but all hotel prices in Avignon are a bit inflated.
The entrance to the building leaves a lot to be desired, so when I first saw the hotel sign, I was seriously worried; but then the shabby outer entrance gives way to a charming courtyard (the breakfast area) and the hotel reception is minimalistic and very small but welcoming. Poor WiFi that kept on disconnecting or slowing down. I have serious doubts that the towels were clean. They had stains on them and did not smell of detergent.

I liked the location, 5 mins walk to the train station, right next to the tourist office.staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast nice but not a lot of choice. Bedroom nicely decorated and comfortable.
Building work going on but it's all progress!!
