Hôtel Central Lyon Perrache  

Allt var perfekt, verkligen valuta för pengarna. Så otroligt nöjd med både rummet och frukosten etc.

Väldigt trevlig och tillmötesgående personal. Rent och fräscht rum. Stor TV. Bra att kunna checka ut t.o.m 12:00.

Möjligen badrummet som inte riktigt höll samma klass som övriga rummet. Fortfarande inget att klaga på dock.

Excellent chap on reception who was very patient with my dreadful French. Room was warm even though it was feeezing outside. Hotel was quiet too. Very convenient for station. Good breakfast - nice to get a decent cup of tea.

Breakfast was in reception area - not a problem usually but it was freezing every time the doors opened.

I appreciated very good location of the hotel, nice staff. The recepcionists were helpful with explaining working of the public communications, adviced interesting events and gave useful map of Lyon.

The bed was very uncomfortable!!!! There was no where to park. I had to pay for parking on the street and go out early in the morning to pay the payant...very inconvenient. The shower was so small and it overflowed all over the bathroom.

Excellent location near Gare Perrache in Lyon. Very good value.

The bathroom layout is a disaster. Having a sink in the bedroom is not convenient or practical. Worse, the shower leaks water all over the bathroom floor and out onto the carpet, an amazingly bad design that should never have seen the light of day. Given the high cost of this hotel a decent bathroom is the least to be expected.

The plumbing drains are not working well.

The reception staff on both days were friendly and helpful. The room was basic but clean. Wifi was free and good.

Tried the underground car park. It was a nightmare. Very difficult to find either by car or by foot. A better produced map would be extremely useful. Next time I would park in the street!

Great location next to the train station, recent remodeled room and a good staff.

Renovation of the outside of the building did not allow us to open the window and get any fresh air. Room thermostat and temperature is controlled by the hotel.

Convenience

Our quad room was extremely spacious - basically the equivalent of two good sized rooms. The beds were very comfortable with nice comfortable comforters. The design and decor of the room was updated and modern and clean. There were two televisions - one for each sleeping area. The hotel was very close to the train station which was something I had wanted. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful, especially Joachim who was a great help to us on the morning we left when our airport transfer did not show up and he helped us find an alternative. The toilet/shower were separate from the sink which was helpful when you have four people trying to get ready in the morning. We did not partake of the breakfast (extra fee) because we had an extremely early flight on the one morning we were there. The WiFi worked fine.

The toilet/shower area was of a strange design such that the floor of both areas was shared with no partition to trap the shower water in the shower area, leading to a significant puddle of water in front of the toilet after each shower. Also, there was no air-conditioning and the room was rather warm - though not as much as I would have expected based on the temperature outside. There was a table-top fan provided in each slepping area which helped a lot. Though I would have preferred it to be cooler in the room I was able to sleep. The facade of the building is being renovated and has scaffolding over the window and the hotel recommended that you not sleep with the window open as a result. Perhaps the fan and open window would be perfectly comfortable in the absence of air conditioning when the renovation is completed.

It is near the Perrache station. But the bathroom is too small. The water will flow out the bathroom when you take bath.

very loud because of surrounding traffic, no aircondition in the room!
