The staff were all very pleasant and the gentleman who was on Reception on our arrival deserved the highest praise for the way he helped us recover our luggage from the airport after we had picked up the wrong suitcase. Having stayed at the Hotel on several occasions we love the location. I was surprised to find the breakfast to be an additional cost. On previous occasions this was included as a bed/breakfast ppurchase. As a result I felt the Hotel was a trifle pricey. We hated the matress protector. The result was 3 nights of very poor, sweaty "sleep". I wish you could remove them, after all , as mature travellers, we are extremely unlikely to soil the bed!

Awesome, perfect location - just steps from the St-Michel stop on the rer b line. Very clean. Our room was not large, nor was the bed (a double, not a queen), and the bed was a little hard. The decor is pretty traditional but is kept up very well, and the flat screen tv was new. The wireless signal was too weak in our room to work, so we just went down to the lobby to use the internet instead. I feel like I'm listing the negatives when really it's a great place to stay, especially for the price. You can pay a lot more and get a lot less in Paris. The whole place was very clean, the shower was nice, new, and had great pressure, the front desk man was very nice, and the location is perfect. I would totally stay here again.

Clean, quiet room. Could not control temperature in room so good thing the weather did not require a/c or heating. Open window was perfect. Good value for money and location.

Location, very close to Notre-Dame, St Sulpice, Pantheon. The metro-station also was close to the hotel. The room were clean. The room looks horrible, with a carpet on the wall, next to a big photo. Then, we did not have have heating, even outside were only 3-4 degrees in the night.

Friendly staff. Free Wifi which was fast (fast enough to stream Formula 1 over the internet). Basic breakfast but of good quality: the croissants are freshly baked and the coffee is good. Beds are good and the bathroom is clean. I've paid more money for less of a hotel in Paris many times. Not much not to like. The room is small and oddly-shaped, but hey, this is Paris. The soap and shampoo in the bathroom are pretty basic (dispenser on the wall).

The hotel is in a brilliant location - within walking distance of a lot of sights The room we were in was a good size (for a Paris hotel) but was very dusty and stuffy. We got the impression (perhaps incorrectly) that it hadn't been used for a while.

The location is amazing. The room was very clean with modern, tasteful decorations and details. The rooms are small, but standard for Parisian hotels. I felt very comfortable staying here and would absolutely stay here again. The check-in process was slow compared to other hotels and I would not count on the receptionists for insight to the cool, hip side of the city. Luckily there are lots of websites that can do that instead.

As they say: Location, Location, Location. My room was small and the bed absolutely tiny. It was the smallest bed I've ever been in (not counting my infancy). At only 5 ft. 6 inches tall, my feet should not hang off the end of the bed! Make sure you get a room that you will fit in.

great location, staff was very nice , room was one of the biggest i have ever seen in such a location the hotel is above a movie theater and opposite to a pub - so it is really noisy until 3AM or so (sometimes even later). If you are not a deep sleeper this is not the hotel for you.

We chose the hotel because of the convenient location: between the 5th and 6th arr., about 400 m from Seine only, and next to the RER station used for airport shuttling. The cafeterias nearby in addition to Sorbonne university, Louxemburg garden and the old churches were also pleasant for us. The hotel is nice and staff friendly, and the room at least as convenient as other hotel rooms in Paris within this category (3*). We were unhappy because of the lack of "do not disturb" signs, so when we wanted / needed to stay at the room there was often knocks on the door. Only when we told that our room can be left unmade that day were we left in peace. It was also not nice to notice that the boxes, which should have contained shoe shiners, were empty.

“The Staff, they were really helpful and kind and spoke really good english so didn't have to worry about trying to figure out what they were saying. Also how close we were to the eiffel tower and the arc de triomphe they were at least 5mins walk away, the area is amazing plenty of cafe's and restraints to eat in. The rooms them selves where really nice and cleaned everyday with fresh sheets and towels. Also the metro was just down the road meaning that getting around to see other sites and getting back to hotel was easy and didn't have to walk miles.” Daniel, Chesterfield |
