Cévenol Hôtel    

The hotel was clean, odour-free (non-smoking), and everything worked properly. The breakfast was very good. The restaurant, where we had dinner, deserves a special word of recommendation: absolutely the best lamb shank I have had in a long time.

They seem to have upgraded and moved down the road from the original listed address. Don't be put off by the 'For Sale' sign at the original place!!

The man at reception was excellently welcoming and friendly. The hotel is clean, bright and well-run. Rooms are plainish but bright and clean and comfortable. I highly recommend the meals here, for quality, presentation and value. There are three set price menus in the evening and we were impressed by the food we received on choosing the lowest priced selection. We would look forward to eating there again. Breakfast was also very good. Car parking good also.

This is a no frills hotel - clean and very good value for money. Our room was quiet. Very useful info from a previous reviewer about the electric window blind - we never would have found that.

Comfortable modern hotel within walking distance of the town centre. Don't bother going out for dinner though as the restaurant is excellent and reasonably priced.

People moving about on other floors and noise from outside could be heard...but we're used to sleeping where's there's no noise at all so maybe we're over sensitive.

Hotel staff are very friendly. Breakfasts are good and the rooms clean. Ideal for a 1 or 2 night stay in the Millau area. Just 15 minutes walk from the town centre.

Rooms are good for short stay of 1-2 nights. Any longer and it might seem small.

Excellent location and very relaxing

The very friendly and pleasant receptionist who despite our very late arrival - after the reception had closed - was most welcoming. The breakfast buffet offered a wide range of quality produce that provided a good starter for the day. The location was very scenic and had we more time, it would have been nice to explore the area.

Comfortable room, adequately furnished and with good shower. Excellent views of the surrounding mountains.Price for room and for evening meal very fair. Easy walking distance from town centre.

Breakfast experience more like a school canteen or motorway service station than a 3* hotel: collect individual tray, load with food & drink, take to table bare of napery, flowers or any hint of individuality. It lets down the rest of the business.

It's quiet location just out of town. It was 15 mins walk from Millau train station and 5 mins walk to town. It has a nice outlook over surrounding mountains, river and countryside. Millau is a quiet little town with a lovely feeling and surrounding mountains. The staff of Cevenol Hotel could not have been more helpful, highly recommend.

No fridge or kettle. If you don't have a car in Millau it can be difficult or a long walk to see the surrounding sights, but that is no reflection on the hotel itself.

The rooms were very clean and the restaurant served excellent food.

The water in the bathroom, both shower and washbasin, tasted and smelt of chlorine and was possibly somehow linked to the water that went into the swimming pool. This meant that for brushing our teeth and making hot drinks with our own kettle, as there were no facilities for this in the room, we had to bring in bottled water.

Clean and modern, decent sized room and helpful staff. Dinner set menu is copious, so avoid this option if you are not very hungry! Breakfast is good if a bit limited in range.(Better than many other hotels in France though.)

Excellent location,short walk into town (10 Minutes). Staff pleasant and helpful. Room was clean and had everthing needed.Free parking in Hotel car park. Cannot comment on the food (did not take meals) Will use again.

A large television playing in the background during evening dinner in the packed restaurant - totally unnecessary.

I was travelling to the South of France and found the Cevenol Hotel excellent. The staff were very helpful, Secure car parking was important. The bedroom was lovely. What surprised me most was that the dinner in the hotel was wonderful (I would normally prefer to dine in a restaurant rather than in a hotel) but I was very plesently surprised by the hotel meal.

I would only be "nit picking" if I said there was anything I did not like about the hotel - the lift rattled a bit but that is all.

Modern comfortable clean room with a view of stunning Millau bridge. Hotel close to centre of old town which is worth a walk. Has good car parking facilities and strong free Internet in room. Food in hotel restaurant excellent. Some wear and scuff marks in hallway to rooms but overall very good value for money.

The location near the centre of Millau. It also has good car parking facilities. Rooms are modern and comfortable.

Power failure late evening. No lights and the room was extremely dark.
