Sabine and Pol were lovely hosts. Sabine gave us a tour of the whole guest wing, which has been restored in very sympathetic style. All the rooms were very comfortable and clean, and had lovely views across the countryside. The little breakfast room was very warm and comfortable, with it's wood burning stove. There was a kettle, tea, and coffee available all the time in the breakfast room, and one day Sabine made a delicious French Apple Tart for a snack in the afternoon. Pol gave us an interesting tour of the main house the following day, and filled us in on all the history and extensive restorations that are being carried out. The house is situated in the countryside, with lovely walks to nearby villages. It is about 15 minutes drive to nearby Beauvais, where there is a beautiful cathedral and several cafes and restaurants. Sadly we had to leave early due to illness, but we hope very much to return.
There was nothing to dislike.
High quality, unique & relaxing experience, different from common non-personal business accommodation. Good access to both Paris & northern France with car.
Beautifull place, wonderful interior The most kindly owners i ever met .Thank You Sabine and Pol.
The castle & rooms are wonderfull. Our daughters of 5&7 years had a fantastic time. Bathroom is super.
Breakfast has limited choice (croissant, pain, jam & ham), but you can eat it in a lovely room.
Friendly staff, very quiet location, beautiful building, stylish rooms, great athmosphere.
The quality of the beds is only so so. The location is very quiet, but the isolation between the rooms is poor. You will hear every sound from another room, and from people going to/coming from their rooms.
The staff was very gracious in many ways and the facility was lovely. We had a very enjoyable stay.
Size and quality of rooms, bathrooms and facilities. Hosts very welcoming, including a full tour of their chateau - fascinating.
A-L-L !!!! S-i-m-p-l-y said !!! A-L-L The passion put in every detail .... it's outstanding and very rare ... and a passion lives on ... I have not seen it for a very long time .. I thought it is lost forever ... but it's not ... it's hiding- and you have to look for ... when you find it ... you will know
There is absolutly nothing of dislike
We arrived much later than expected on a sunday evening. All restaurants were closed and Sabine was kind enough to prepare a wonderful salad with fresh vegetables and tuna, fruits, warm home-made muffins!! They have worked for 10 years to restore the Chateau using much of the original art, flooring and masonry. They were very knowledgeable about its history. The setting is beautiful and peaceful.
Not a thing!
Fast Wifi Extremely clean Comfortable Bed Gracious hosts Tour of ongoing restoration Great local dinner recommendation Beautiful location
Nature, room size, breakfast, dog, Sabin, bath, beds....
welcome by owners helpfulness of owners fantastic property surroundings tour of property by owners history, history and history !
absolutley nothing to dislike
At the end of our 10 week holiday in France we could not have found a better place for our last night.Beautiful chateau and our room was of a really high standard, spacious and tastefully fitted out. The restaurant recommended for dinner was great also. Best of all was the warmth of the welcome with such wonderful hosts! And the guided tour of the renovations in the chateau What a massive job but done with great respect and love for the building. We will definitely be returning in the future.
We loved our stay, and Sabine and Pol went more than the extra mile for us, and helped us with logistics on our trip. The Chateau was beautiful and more than we imagined. The food was excellent and service was so special and friendly. We wish we could've stayed longer than the one night we were able to experience.
The owner was very friendly and accomodating Very peaceful and quiet Tour of the castle Rooms were very nice
The breakfast was very good (especially the fresh baked bread) but limited choices.
Everything - the owners were fantastic lovely people & the Chateau is beautiful. The location is amazing, if your looking for a very peaceful place to stay this is a must & is only about an hour from Paris City centre.
Lovely restored chateau very close to Beavais airport. Arrived late due to delayed flight without any problem. Room was well presented, comfortable and airy with a lovely view of the front of the building and courtyard. The house is set back from the main road and has beautiful views of the countryside. Breakfast was good and very well presented. The owners are very friendly and speak very good English. Highly recommended.
Lovely chateau in peaceful grounds. Beautiful room and welcoming hosts who made a booking for us at a good restaurant nearby. Loved seeing the restoration of the chateau.
The sign to the chateau is small and hard to see. We missed it the first time.
no TV or evening meal and no coffee facility in room
The most charming accomodation we had in our life! Sabine and Pol are perfect hosts. Highly recommended to people that enjoy beauty and harmony.
The location was impressive, peaceful and very relaxing. Sabine made us feel very welcome, the suite fitted our requirements exactly and the breakfast was spot on! We were recommended a lovely Bistro de Pays for our evening meal in a quaint village 10 minutes away from the Chateau. We really enjoyed our night in Chateau d'Auteuil and would have loved to stay longer.
The place is wonderful starting from house itself, beautiful nature, peace and silence and ending with most sincere, friendly and welcoming owners Sabine and Pol. Definitely would come back or stay longer.
Chateau D'Auteuil is located in a wonderful, quiet, green area, that is in deep contrast with the noise of Paris. Here you can rediscover France as it was before the turist invasion.
I can't wait to see the entire castle open for the visitors!
Pol and Sabina have an amazing passion for szving history to be shared and have done a remarkable job of restoring their chateau. It is truely beautiful and provide wonderful service !
We simply LOVED this place, the owners are wonderful, beautiful soulful place, they are renovating the castle very seriously and are passionate about this place. Each guest by staying there will help covering the high costs of these renovations. We had a beautiful home cooked dinner, we even had a full visit of the castle. We will most definitely go back, 1 hour away from Paris, very peaceful and very romantic also.
Nothing, we highly recommend this place to people who want to escape paris for a week end, or book a wedding, baptism…event or just to lovebirds who want a nice week end in the countryside
