Nothing to didlike
location superb, real Chateau, like you are a king for the weekend. A white cinderella castle. Wow, where is my pumpkin carriage! Thank you for a great stay. Hope to share this place with my wife and family.
needs a couple more people on staff
Views good across vineyard
Basic/poor bar (unable to do cocktails ! Reception area muddled ( not a good flow of rooms) no comfortable lounge areas.
This was my third time of staying at this exceptional hotel and am already booked in for my return journey. I would recommend it to anyone.
Staff Room - we were upgraded to a lovely room with terrace Dining room - delicious food
Very nice restaurant (excellent value for money). Extremely focused staff. Nice pool.
Excellent location with lovely view across vineyards etc. Easy access to the autoroute. Friendly efficient staff. Buffett breakfast was fine. Did not use restaurant for dinner. Our room was on first floor & was clean, large & well presented. The owner was always on hand to assist & keep passing watch on things. 2 min walk into village & several restaurants.
Not much to dislike - in places the property is a little tired & lived in but that would not prevent me from visiting again.
Friendly staff Perfect Breakfast Incredible Dinner and host Views
Spa could be bigger/more elaborate and more reasonably priced treatments
No access to the restaurant for dinner unless you book in advance and no lunch facilities. Guests do not get any priority to the restaurant, which is the only negative point to this hotel, which offers a really great and comfortable stay.
Location surroundings pool parking food room was beautiful everything was top A1
Lift kept breaking down Uncomfortable to carry luggage Nice to have separate toilet but no basin to wash hands ... Needed to walk to main bathroom
Location, setting, rooms and food
Could have had a larger wine list given the location
We had a car accident on the way to the hotel. Our French is functional but not up to discussing insurance issues. The staff was excellent is helping us navigate the protocols and making local travel arrangements. The restaurant was excellent but limited in menu choices . My wife became ill and the restaurant could not prepare a light soup.
The only room available was the junior suit which was cavernous with nondescript furniture, certainly not up to "Chateau" standards. Wifi dropped out over 10 times while composing an e mail. Location was way off the beaten path and difficult to find.
Staff Restaurant- especially Marc the restaurant director. He makes it. The service was superb and he was a pure professional. Great mix of efficiency, politeness, discretion and attentiveness. Better than the restaurants in town. Spa- very good.
Being picky but more coffee in the rooms. Some wine in the mini bar. Some of the deluxe rooms get a balcony and our premium suite did not.. On balance I would have chose a deluxe.
Very friendly staff, nice spacious room, easy parking, excellent food.
WiFi - slow and kept disconnecting
The quality of the restaurant both with regard to the food and the dining room was really good. The size of the room is not quite big enough compared to the price level - but the balcony was big and well equipped.
Stunning building from the outside, the conversion to a hotel could perhaps be a little more considerate to the history/age/authenticity of the building. Big airy rooms, ours had a fantastic view of the vineyards and the church tower. Huge bed, lovely linen and great shower.
We didn't need the SPA, it's slightly strange swimming in silence with panpipe music, but it was lovely to lie outside on sunloungers. The staff could be a little more personable and less rigid, to give a more friendly feel to the hotel. But I guess they are catering for the upper classes, so they maintain a formal approach.
- beautiful castle almost in the middle of Mersault - small, but stylish and convenient room - spectacular dining room - swimming pool - expensive, but worth every eurocent
- nothing to complain about
A chateau outlook with modern room decorations. Very nice swimming pool, we enjoyed it everyday. Food and service at the restaurant was excellent, but you have to book in advance.
There was no help at check-in, we have to carry luggages to the rooms by ourselves. Breakfast is over priced.
Beautifull location beteren the grape fields with a nice view on the village of Meursault. Beautifull Chateau, really good food, helpfull staf
A beautiful hotel in a lovely, peaceful location. A fabulous restaurant, and good spa facilities. Whilst the typical guests would be a couple, the hotel was very welcoming and accommodating of us with our two small children.
Fantastic property. The 17th century dining room and the menu was exquisite Service is excellent considering its in the countryside, reception open upto 10pm! Rooms on same floor, help with luggage Knowledgeable staff and friendly.
Magnificent building and location
Structural aspects of hotel rooms (plaster walls, too cramped)
lovely position, friendly staff.
rooms a little unimaginative, why not use the wonderful original rooms the way that they were.Reception on the ground floor....?
Idyllic surroundings. Great sauna, spa, steam room and swimming pool.
