Pleasant staff, great breakfast, comfortable room
A.C. did not work for several hours, but finally fixed for evening.
The great solution for people who like nature, to cook by yourself and like to enjoy of the meal in a company in the nature. There are even BBQ facilities!
There is no any ventilation in the toilets and some bathrooms (our experience is about two rooms). It will be also a good idea to put some wardrobes in the rooms.
even better than on their web site : Large eated outdoor swimming pool and big jacuzzi Great location between Arcachon, Le Cap Ferret and Bordeaux Excellent wine perfect breakfast great room and plenty of friendly advises
Location, comfortable bed, friendly staff, great breakfast
Wifi reception in our room was poor
Everything was wonderful. Chantal was. Very helpful and the room is very nicely decorated.
There was so much more in the 'family room' than we expected it was really an self catering 2 bed apartment.
We were passing through and we didn't like the countryside there as much as other parts we visited. But if you like wine...
Surroundings and friendly and helpful staff.
We did need wifi for some urgent family problems but it was very unreliable
The host Chantelle, very nice and eager to please
Plumbing was a special type (probably due to room location), which when flushed was very noisy. Jacuzzi bath had no instructions, once switched on, was hard to work out how to switch on. Also i believe it hadn't been used in a long time because black debris came out the jets.
We stayed at there for three days, owner's daughter gave us a lots useful information include what Chateau worth to taste their wine, where we can find fantastic restaurant... The most wonderful thing was their wine, it was the first time we taste wine from Pessac-Leognan, it is really good! We definately will back!
very friendly and helpful staff and lovely rooms and facilities
All, Welcome , Place, space, room Everything make You feel at Home Perfect
Wonderfull area for a walk in the nature or for jogging. Relaxing atmosphere with dogs, horses and other animals.
The rooms were a little simple with few places to store clothes and baggage.
The room was very nicely decorated. The owner is charming. The breakfast was good. It would be nice to stay for at least 2 nights and visit the area more.
The soundproofing between rooms was not great. We came back very late from a wedding and although we tried not to make noise, the people in the next room probably heard us.
The owners were very friendly and helpful. The location was in the countryside, but fairly close to Bordeaux. The accommodations were very comfortable.
We needed a hotel within 30 mins of Bordeaux airport on Sat morning and the chateau was perfect. We had a guided tour of the chapel and vineyard by Liz, who was charming and knowledgeable, as was her mother who looks after the B&B side of the business. Lovely breakfast.
There are no restaurants within walking distance, but driving into Leognan to eat was a small price to pay for staying in such lovely surroundings.
The peacefulness, and a beautiful setting. There was also a lot of attention to detail.
It was a drive to the nearest restaurent.
Excellent Breakfast, friendly reception, comfortable rooms, nearby attractions and free wifi.
Light smell in the bathroom
Very nice place!!! The surrounding is so calm! The owners are very kind and helpful. The rooms are very nice decorated and I liked that the small details (bathrobes, slippers and even toilet paper) are combined with the furniture of each room.
Pleasant ambiance, very clean with air-conditioning which was a necessity.
We were disappointed to find that the rooms were not in the main building of the chateau as the photos lead us to believe, but in a small, converted annex. Our modern bathroom (cappuccino room) had very impractical sinks. There was nowhere to put the soap and toiletries other than on the floor.
