Had a lovely one night stay at this AMAZING place. It really was a worth coming here. It has a feel of a wedding kind of place. Not much to do for kids apart from the pool but one or two night stay is ideal to chill or if passing from east to west of France as we did.

Beautiful old vineyard lovely setting and area to walk round. Breakfast on terrace. Big comfortable bed.

Restaurant not open except for summer, although there were some good restaurants a short drive away at the marina.

The ambiance was very appealing, and location whilst very tranquil needed transport to explore the area's of Narbonne.

The lack of choice at breakfast was to say the least was very poor, perhaps it was because this was the start of the season, but come on we are paying for this..... Not good, suggest the owners look at this area very seriously.

The Chateau was really gorgeous and designed beautifully with a real eye to detail. They give great winetastings too.

For the price I would expect some nice toiletries in the room, but there was nothing at all - not even any soap!

The Chateau is set in a beautiful vineyard and is full of character. Rooms are spacious with good shower etc all recently updated and pleasantly decorated. The pool is very good but as it is a working vineyard there is noise from the adjacent working area (screened from view). Sunbeds provided but no towels. Breakfast on the terrace was very good, quality croissants and good selection of jams. Also bread provided but no cheese or meats. Fresh fruit, tea and coffee available too. Staff were friendly and helpful, though only the manager and restaurant staff speak English. Although there are no tea or coffee making facilities in the room the manager opened the kitchen and told us we could use it as we wished, she let us use the fridge and freezer which was a great help too. Access to Gruissan is easy and only a short drive, the marina is lovely and plenty of choice for restaurants and bars. At the Chateau you can also take a walk amongst the vineyards and do wine and honey tasting. Overall a very pleasant stay, staff and location lovely, plenty of character but a little overpriced for a B&B.

Firstly the rooms are over priced at 160 euro's per night B&B, we initially booked the previous week but had to change our booking to the following week, and the daily rate increased from 120 to 160 euro's. 120 euro's would have been about right. After the first day we returned to find our room hadn't been cleaned or bed made, I spoke to the manager who told me "this is not a hotel, we only change the towels and take the garbage out!". The next day however the room was cleaned and bed remade. We did not use the restaurant but had a drink at the bar, a small bottle of beer at 4 euro's was a "tad" expensive!

    Nice landscape.

We did not get any information about check out time or when breakfast were served. We had to leave early the next morning, about 8 am, so we got no breakfast and we did not find any staff either. There where no water in the bathroom in the morning, so we had to leave without a shower and without a toothbrush. Lovely! We complained, but no discount is given so we have been charged 100%!! I can hardly believe it.
