Château Ormes de Pez is a very comforting place, has beautiful, large and stylish rooms and is located in the middle of the vineyards. The owner gave us relevant and interesting information without obligations and he arranged a very interesting visit to the château Lynch Bages. Places to eat or pubs are very hard to find in the neighbourhood. Café Lavinal (close to château Lynch Bages) was recommended by the owner and was excellent indeed.

Huge room with large bed and good view of vineyard. Swimming pool was great.

Shower is in bath and needs a panel to stop water spraying the floor. House is more a maison de maitre - not a chateau in the sense of size. Breakfast basic but gpod but no tablecloths so felt a bit utilitarian......woken at 0600 by the noise of the vineyard

This is a great choice if you enjoys calm, access to the outdoors, and the atmosphere of the Bordeaux vineyards. The staff was very helpful and attentive. Our room was large and well appointed. The hotel was nearly empty during our stay so we had wonderful privacy. WiFi worked flawlessly.

This area is somewhat remote and has limited dining options. Ask Gilles for the restaurant list and plan ahead, especially on Sundays. If you are looking for access to night life, stay in Bordeaux.

Our stay was everything one could want at a small chateau. Gilles was so helpful in arranging wine tastings and restaurant reservations for us. He went out of his way to accommodate our wishes. It was a pleasure to sleep in such quiet surroundings. Breakfast was excellent with fresh breads/pastries, eggs or anything else we wanted. We would definitely recommend Chateau Ormes de Pez.

Air condtioning would be an added bonus.

L'accueil est parfait, les prestations sont de qualité (literie très confortable). Le cadre est superbe ! La cerise sur le gâteau est la visite des caves du château Lynch Bages. Nous vous recommandons cette étape.

J'ai tout aimé. L'endroit est magique, on s'y sent bien tout de suite. L'endroit est plein de caractère et possède tout le confort moderne. Très bon accueil par Monsieur de Marcellus.

La vie de château, ce n'est pas tous les jours! C'était parfait. Les chambres sont grandes, extrêmement confortables, le salon avec toute la documentation sur les vins de Bordeaux et du Médoc est très accueillant. Gille, l’intendant est toujours a disposition pour faire des réservations et donner des conseils. J’y retournerai.

Un peu loin de restaurants, dans ce pays de vins exquis, devoir prendre la voiture n'est pas toujours facile.

Les chambres, tr§s spacieuses, le lit ultra confort, la qualité du petit déjeuner, et l'accueil. A recommander et en plus la visite du château "Lynch bages".

La situation géographique au coeur des vignes, la "grandeur" de l'endroit (hauts-plafonds, cheminée, grands salons), le jardin immense, le fait que l'on soit seuls au château ce soir là!

Un peu loin de la "ville" (Pauillac à 10-15mn en voiture)

Une propriété calme et bien située pour visiter le Médoc. Une chambre charmante et confortable avec une literie de qualité et des WC indépendants de la salle de bain. D'agréables salons avec à disposition une belle cheminée où il n'y a plus qu'à gratter l'allumette. Une connexion wi fi. Un très bon petit-déjeuner. Un parking privé et un grand parc. Un intendant aimable et disponible. Une visite-dégustation incluse au Château Lynch Bages. Un bon rapport qualité/prix. Pour dîner, nous recommandons le Saint Julien, rue de Saint Julien à Saint Julien!
