Chalet Hotel Les Sorbiers  

Very clean and staff were lovely. I especially liked the heated loo seat.

Would have been nice to have some English channels on the TV. We watched the BBC World News for the whole stay which seemed to be on a loop.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay. The service was the best I have experienced. Everyone was very accommodating and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. One of those little gems that you will always remember.

Really comfortable hotel with big beds, spa baths and lots of nice touches. Secure garage under hotel for motorbike parking. Nice breakfast.

There was no restaurant for evening meals and because it was September few places were open. A bit of a downside when travelling by motorbike, if they are trying to attract bikers in the summer months they should consider offering some kind of food option even if only sandwiches.

The staff were universally friendly and efficient. They consistently went out of their way to be of assistance and their advice was much appreciated.

I can not think of a single thing that could be criticized - except the weather. But then, I suppose that is not really their fault...

The bathroom was to small.

This is a hidden GEM ! Marie (owner) is lovely and really takes care of her hotel - it is very clean, very comfortable and far more than one would expect in the 3* class. We had a small double rom (purposely) which, for one night was just fine for the size...but were we to stay longer, I would choose a larger room. This little one was perfect, though - and if you are traveling alone, this room would be really my first pick in Val D'Isere. Thanks so much - we will see you again !

Breakfast was good. Location was handy for the town. Room was fine.

Parking was a bit of a problem - public parkiing was free, but quite a walk away.

You pay for a 3 star hotel that is closer to a four star hotel. Staff is very nice, friendly and helpful. The breakfast would deserve 8/10. The rooms are comfortable, and very clean. I tend to notice noises and there were not any (room was facing back garden).

The only drawback with the hotel was the horse flies in the back garden, although this is nt the hotel faullt and it kept me busy, killing the flies with a news paper and giving me excuses to hit my friends with the news paper ;-). Frankly nothing really negative to mention.

Family room offered 4 excellent beds; shower, toilet clean comfortable, wifi fine. Buffet Breakfast wonderfully varied.

In summer, little business, so no bar or restaurant. No Parking for cars in garage or in the front (just one or two places).

The rooms and bathrooms were very nice as was the decor etc.

No food available at all other than the buffet breakfast which was perhaps a little expensive for what it was.

Nice clean room. Stunning views across the mountains.

It is more like a guesthouse so we could not get in upon arrival as host had to go out. There was a note on the door however to let us know.

Very friendly staff throughout the hotel. Breakfast is very enjoyable. Hotel is located in a nice area, not too far from the action and is on the free ski bus route. The hotel provided/offered us with a shower and changing room after skiing on the day of check-out which was very much appreciated.

Excellent service, very friendly staff. Great location for the centre of Val D'isere and bus service to the ski slopes. The hotel has a very relaxed atmosphere. We would go back to this hotel without hesitation.
