Charming period house in a delightfully bucolic setting. Madame Haar being most attentive.

Bathroom was clean and modern. Beautiful rural view from bedroom window. Very old building with lots of character.

Bedroom was small. 20km drive there and back into Dijon for dinner at a restaurant.

Francine and William, the owners of this beautiful, charming old chateau were very pleasant and helpful. Interestingly, William is a horseman who has won contests in Wyoming. The grounds are beautiful; the breakfast in a lovely setting, was more than ample. I would recommend this property to anyone expept a spoiled American tourist who would be happier in a Hilton.

A bit out of the way and the retro bathroom as is usual for these types of properties, was not up to western standards, but we didn't expect that it would be.

Chambres d'Hôtes du Mont Saint Laurent has this original French feel about it. The place is charming, elegant, comfortable without any pretentiousness. Our hostess Francine is a horses and cats lover. She is a very positive, friendly and attentive hostess, makes you feel very welcome. The room was newly renovated with all you need to feel super comfortable but keeping the original character of the XVII c. place. The bed was beautifully and we woke up relaxed and rested. Breakfast consistent of delicious bread, rolls and freshly baked croissants! Enormous coffee caps!:) We will definitely stay there again on a way to South of France.

The place is perfect but the only near restaurant was full with private event so we had to drive to 20 km Chateauneuf. But actually it was well worth it!
