The warm welcome, the amount of room and cleanliness. The breakfast was delicious which was served in our room. Great attention to detail and the glass of champagne offered on arrival was a very nice touch. Excellent location for visiting the champagne houses and suggestions for dinner venues were good.
Our 2 nights were at the end of our holiday in France. We loved the stay right from the friendly welcome we received and the Horse Room had all (and more) we needed in the way of space and comfort. Great bathroom. Welcome drink was a lovely touch and our host, Laure was delightful - nothing was too much trouble. Breakfasts were perfect. Great location for walking to the Champagne houses.
Nothing we could think of!
All was good great reception , good location great advice on where to eat
Needed a toilet door !
We loved staying at this B&B. Laure is very serviceminded and does everthing she can to help. Breakfast was very good the dinner she cooked for us was superb.
The lady owner was a darling , made it a pleasure
No door on the toilet
cleanliness, decoration, very helpful hostess, location, great breakfast served en suite
Wonderful room with separate living area. Welcome drink and snacks. Modern interior yest still charming.
Mini studio 'Horse' room. Laure was a wonderful host and took us on a personal tour of a small champagne producer, complete with testing! We learnt a lot about wine and how champagne is made. Breakfast was superb and she made us a small platter the night we arrived. Wonderful.
We didn't book for a longer stay!
Wonderful to be treated as a real guest and start with an aperitif and canapé before dinner. Epernay is a lovely town and on the doorstep.
Fantastic location and host couldn't have done more - many thanks!
The Host/Owner was very accomodating and cooked for us on our first night as well as arranging avisit to a boutique Champagne house just outside Epernay that was superb. A five minute stroll into town, fully home cooked breakfasts including jams and pastries made the stay unforgettable.
It is like home abroad, Laure is very accommodating, helped us making reservation for dinner, baked us homemade snacks which were delicious, gave recommendations on what to do around the region. The room itself is just wonderful, great deco, comprehensive facilities and utilities. Very very nice. We would like to visit again next time we are around the region.
We had the Champagne room and were delighted with it, which includes a small sitting room & access onto the patio, very cool too. We had an aperitif & home made nibbles on the patio before dinner which Laure prepared for us . It was an excellent 4 course meal with a bottle of champagne- wonderful! We were very close to the Avenue de Champagne & other facilities. An ideal place to stay in Epernay.
The accommodations and location were wonderful. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The owner of the B&B was gracious, hopeful and accommodating. I would recommend this B&B about hesitation.
Laure is lovely woman and a great host.
Great service, Laure is a wonderful and attentive host. The food is absolutely delicious. If possible choose for the All Inclusive Dinner and her home baked cookies are amazing!
- Great location - Walking distance of restaurants, train station and Champagne houses - Good breakfast and diner - Great comfort
- Sound damping could be better (Rooms are next to the main entrance)
We arrived from the us on a major French holiday (nine hour time change) and Laure couldn't have been more helpful. We had a light dinner, she encouraged us to rest, relax, and have breakfast in the room. It was perfect. The rooms have black-out shades, wonderful bathroom and sitting room and close to everything. Thank you Laure. We hope to visit you, again.
I absolutely loved my stay here. We arrived very early, but Laure was very welcoming and helped us arrange everything, including finding a place for lunch, making reservations for us for dinner, and overall making us feel like we were at home. We stayed in Le Cheval (the Horse) room and had a very comfortable night - the windows are equipped with blackout shades and the bedding is quite comfortable. I also enjoyed having a small sitting room where we could eat breakfast and drink our welcome glass of champagne. The WiFi worked flawlessly and the bathroom was quite nice - large, and with two separate sinks so that my husband and I could get ready at the same time. The hotel was just a 2-3 minute walk from the Avenue de Champagne and several restaurants. Very highly recommend.
The room we had also had a living room and a table outside on the small courtyard. A great welcome with a glass of champagne. Breakfast was also good, all served in the room.
There was some loud music early morning emanating from a public hall where people were on a course of sorts.
Hostess was superb! Very accommodating!
Welcoming and clean. The owner went way beyond just service, Nothing was too much trouble, she and her lovely hotel will be somewhere we return to.
Absolutely nothing, it really was perfect!!!!!
Laure the owner was a welcoming host, nothing too much trouble for her. Dinner in our room and breakfasts great. Recommendation and booking for restaurant excellent.
We had a lovely stay and were very well looked after. Our hostess was extremenly helpful and I would definately recommend a stay here. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellant. The Horse themed suite we stayed in was very nice indeed. We were also give some lovely home made biscuits and cakes. All the small touches made it very special. Thank you.
I like a bath... but this is a very minor moan. The courtyard was out of action during our stay, due to a revamp, which I am sure will be lovely once done, so enjoy!
Very cheerful owner who did everything possible to make sure our stay went well. A glass of champagne shortly after arrival. Excellent breakfast.
