A real gem. Beautifully restored home with charming, comfortable, rooms. Host and hostess extremely nice, and, helpful to a fault. Location is proximate to center of old Bayeux, the Bayeux tapestry, as well as shops / restaurants.

My mother and I stayed here while vacationing throughout France. It was one of our favorite experiences. Carole and Jerome run a charming, very clean, well- located b&b, and provide a more personalized experience than you would get at a hotel. We received a warm welcome, excellent restaurant recommendations, and each morning awoke to a delicious breakfast (featuring Carole's homemade pastries and different local cheeses). We were provided our own keys and were able to come and go without any problems. I am not usually one to stay at b&bs, but this place provided a great mix of local hospitality, charm, and independence. Guests have rooms on one side of this beautiful old house, and the family lives on the other. Clos de Bellefontaine is less than a 10-minute walk from the center of town.

It was very charming. Carole was very helpful in planning our day touring the WW II landing sites.

The exquisite taste and manners of the owner. The display at the breakfast table. Her great knowledge of the area and important sites to visit and her ability to share it with us.

The building and grounds are beautiful. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was delicious. Our host was very helpful with detailed site suggestions. The stay was perfect.

Carole and Jerome were so welcoming and helpful during our stay. The room was lovely and the breakfast was fantastic, the best we had during our 10 day stay in France. Carole's homemade jam was wonderful! Bayeau is a beautiful town and was so convenient for our tour of Normany. The chateau was close to town and an easy walk to the tour pick-up site. I would highly recommend a stay at their lovely home!

Fabulous hostess, fantastic breakfast and lovely room with a down duvet. Good advice on local area. WiFi, lovely lounge & garden. Secure parking & convenient location. What more could you ask for. Very highly recommended.

Absolutely superb - a cut above all the other lovely places we stayed in during our five week holiday. Our large room was beautifully furnished with antiques and had a well-appointed bathroom. The hosts, Carole and Jerome, welcomed us warmly and supplied us with all the information we needed. Carole's breakfasts were a highlight of every day and the tea/coffee making and cakes in the guests' drawing room was a very welcome extra. The location is perfect - an easy stroll to a good selection of restaurants and the town centre.

Excellent location and standard of accommodation. Excellent food and friendliness of proprieters. Within easy walking distance of Bayeux Tapestry and town centre. Good road access and secure car parking. Nice friendly cat too!

Immaculate, lovely room and home. The location allowed visiting D-Day areas and Bayeaux- we were there during weekend festival as well...

Very friendly atmosphere. We felt right at home. Also the advice about local sightseeing was very helpful.

Rien. Peut-être une micro déception de ne pas trouver de confiture maison vu la qualité générale du petit déjeuner.

Ein Haus mit Stil. Sehr freund-licher, familiärer Empfang. Super Frühstück.Gehobene, französiche Lebensart in Reinkultur.Es war ein Erlebnis.Schade, dass es nur zwei Übernachtungen waren. Wir werden bestimmt wieder dorthin fahren.

La ubicación en la ciudad es muy buena. El trato es muy agradable y te encuentras muy a gusto. La habitación y la casa son preciosas. Pero si hay algo que destacar es el desayuno.

Everything was just perfect! Free private parking, excellent breakfast and the room/bathroom was sparkling clean!

Fantastisch mooi verblijf. Zeer vriendelijk onthaal met nodige toeristische uitleg. Op 10 min wandelafstand van het zeer gezellige stadscentrum met de kathedraal, het tapijt en lekkere restaurantjes. Vlakbij de ring maar toch enorm rustig. Zeer lekker uitgebreid ontbijt. Hier komen we zeker nog terug!

Erg gastvrij ontvangen, mooie zolderkamer in een prachtig opgeknapt pand. Het ontbijt was geweldig. Een prima locatie om uitstapjes te doen in de omgeving. Echt een plek om nog eens aan te doen.

Gastvrijheid ten top. Prachtig verblijf, fraaie tuin en zeer verzorgd ontbijt. Zeer charmante, gastvrije en hartelijke eigenaren.

Très bon accueil de notre hôte. La chambre superbe, calme et en même temps fonctionnelle. Les petits déjeuners de Mme Mallet sont tout simplement excellents. Notre hôte connait très bien la région et ses conseils nous ont bien aidé en ce qui concerne les sites à visiter et les restaurants.
