Location was good & easy to find
Room was cramped, beds were very old & very uncomfortable squeaky mattresses. Very small bathroom with old half bath & hand held shower.
Accommodation and location. Neighbouring restaurant was excellent
Flies, however not as bad as expected due to it being on a working farm
Quiet, convenience, breakfast included. Good value.
As a working Farm, there were a lot of flies! Bought some fly spray in Millau, that kept our room clear!
nowhere to hang clothes, shower head but nothing to hook it onto the wall
Room was ok, but no cleaning and no shampoo. Good to find and a good place to start your trip.
You must like the smell of 1000 goats and to sit with same table as the other guests and don't need shampoo I think you can live with it.
Friendly staff. Good location. NICE Auberge restaurant.
Too many flies. This is a sheep farm and one should expect flies. The Windows have no screens. There are flies everywhere. l Windows have numerous fly spots. Cleaning the fly spots and nstalling at least a few screens would make this a perfect CHAMBRE d'Note.
Few electric plugs, no minibar, poor internet connection in the rooms, collective breakfast table with insufficient serving devices.
Easy to find and excellent parking. Room was very good, clean and good size Very friendly host... a 5 min car trip to the centre of Millau and 10 mins to the viaduct centre. Beautiful scenery
It's a goat farm with all that goes with it...
Lots of flies from the farm, but no flyspray. Big shame not to have a window, only a velux in the roof, No hot water due to a problem with the system, but no discount offered.
35 steps to reach the bedroom
The owner don't get credit )-:
Owner helpful as we arrived early. Meal in the adjoining restaurant was very good - except for the flies. Millau itself is great - boat trip including rapids - travel through the Gorge - Caves to visit.
There were 36 steps up to our room - 28 of them external - lucky it wasn't raining. I had difficulty carrying my things up & down. The room - basically an attic - had a window in the roof which meant that one could not look out. Neither could I stand upright in the bathroom to shave. Only half a bath. This is a working farm and the room was full of flies - so was the restaurant (though the food was lovely). Breakfast disappointing. No plates - had to spread our bread & jam on the serviettes. No meats or cheese as usual in french breakfasts.
We travelled to Millau just to see the bridge on our route to Haute Alpes so didn't want to visit the town. The farm was ideally situated just off the motorway that goes over the bridge but far enough away not to hear it. From the grounds you can sit and look out over Millau below. The room was clean and comfortable and good value for money. (tip for Millau bridge - the exposition and film about construction is in the rest area before you go over the bridge).
It was very hot when we stayed there so had the window open during the night, inviting in some flies. We wouldn't expect air con at the price we paid but a fly screen would have been good.
