Wonderful stay. Fantastic hosts. Beautiful clean rooms. Great breakfast. Country setting with nice views but easy access to restaurants and Bergarac.

The owners were very warm and welcoming, the room was spotlessly clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, the views were lovely, access to the airport was very straightforward but no aircraft noise was noticed.

Very friendly and welcoming hosts. Verty high standards of cleanliness and comfort. Brenda and Mike have a passion for their business and it shines through. Unfortunately it was March so we did not have the opportunity of using their great pool area. Thoroughly recommend.

Our hosts were very freindly and welcoming. They provided us with an excellent restuarant recommendation and info on surrounding sights. Tea and coffee-making facilities were available and the breakfast was good.

This is a positive I was worried about spilling red wine on the lovely white furnishings

Everything! The location was beautiful in the middle of vineyards with castle views. The hosts were friendly and very helpful. They are British so their English proficiency makes it so easy to get directions and tips on where to go and what to do The room was lovely and included free wifi. The breakfast was delicious with fresh breads and croissants.

We received an excellent welcome from Brenda & Mike. They could not have been more helpful. We booked specifically for the location as we were searching for a specific Monbazillac wine which they helped us find. We would happily stay again in the future.

The couple who ran it were delightful and so welcoming. The location was superb with fantastic views of the vinyards and the Chateau. Our room was beautiful and so comfortable with a fantastic bed! The breakfast and the company were great. we will be going there again.

there wasn`t a TV in the room which we would have appreciated as after our evening meal in the local restaurant we went back to our room and we would have enjoyed watching. The nights are dark now in the Autumn and that would have been good.

Great Place. Brenda and Michael are running their guesthouse with a lot of passion and enthusiasm and are extremely friendly and helpful. We appreciated the delicious breakfast and interesting conversation with them and the other guests.

Would not be good for those without their own transport but that is the only negative.

We booked 4days before travelling and were lucky enough to get a cancellation. I had thought their satisfaction rating of over 9 unlikely, but this was NOT the case. The rooms were spotless, comfortable and quiet. The location peaceful and delightful. The breakfasts excellent. At short notice, we were provided with an extra bed in our room and although we only stayed a single evening the owners showed that nothing was too much trouble, including delivering us to and collecting us from from a local Restuarant. Great place to stay and longer would be better. Thank you.

It can get no better than La Muscadelle and its very kind welcoming hosts Mike & Brenda. They go the extra mile to ensure your stay is as perfect as they can make it. The rooms are real Luxury and the breakfast is broad and varied. Having stayed in another location the night after, which was a real let down after La Muscadell, it beats others hands down for value, comfort and kindness. The terrace for breakfast is fantastic, whilst not trying the covered pool this time, I am returning with my family in July to take advantage of all they have to offer in a delightful setting. The setting and gardens are really tranquil and quite unique, great for that glass of Vino in the evenings with very congenial hosts. Cannot recommend La Muscadelle highly enough, don't be afraid to book, thats if you can get in, they are usually in high demand.

Very friendly owners, very peaceful location. Would recomend it highly and will revisit.

Mike and Brenda were wonderful. The location was excellent, close to Bergerac, but we were still in the quiet countryside. The pool was beautiful. Everything was great, I highly recommend La Muscadelle!

My fiancée and I had the most wonderful time staying at La Muscadelle! We would strongly recommend it to everyone. Mike and Brenda were fabulous hosts and we couldn't have asked for more of this glorious b&B. A truly magical location, within easy distance to many attractions in the area. You must stay here, we will definitely be going back! Ten out of ten!

La Muscadelle is run by a lovely couple who are genuinely interested in making your stay as enjoyable as possible. The rooms were spotless and well equipped and the pool area is substantial with plenty of space to relax. Breakfast is served on the terrace in the morning consisting of fresh croissants, bread, cereals and fruit. The location is great being driving distance from Bergerac and ideally situated in the middle of beautiful Vineyards with a view of Chateau Monbazillac. If you want a relaxing break and the option of driving out to local villages and vineyards for wine tasting this is perfect. We would highly recommend having your own form of transport for going out in the evenings as there isn't much within walking distance.
