Not really 'bad', I just should've read better: booking through this website I expected a hotel, but it turned out to be a bed&breakfast (as its name suggests). This was a surprise, and to be honest: as a business traveler that just arrives late and leaves early, I'd prefer the anonymity of a hotel.
Although I personally don't mind much, others may dislike the lack of privacy (you're actually sleeping in a room at someone's house, like you're back at your parents again). I couldn't find a lock on the door, bathroom is outside the room and while walking there, you might meet the owners.
Very friendly people, good beds, best wifi I ever experienced while abroad (although that should not be vey special when sharing wifi with just nobody).
For my goal, the location was perfect: just next to the train station to Versailles. People wanting to visit Paris will have ~30 minutes traveling time to the city. But value for money is much better than in the center!
The owner sells home made 'confiture' in all kinds of flavours which are delicious!
