The room is very beautiful and stylish. Regine is very nice and friendly. The room was cleaned and arranged every day. Breakfast is invested with different cheeses and pastries is served nice tools.

Internet hardly worked primarily at present guests in the other rooms. The room was on the second floor without elevator and narrow stairs was difficult to pick up the luggage.

Quirky rooms, a little compact ,but very clean.

No dining area and the breakfast was dull.

Regine was so friendly and helpful, she gave us a fabulous breakfast tray each day. The room was very clean and spacious, with windows to front and back of the house. It had a fridge, kettle, TV, and loads of tea/coffee/milk/fruit juice/water/biscuits/cheese/yogourt/butter and more. It was only a short walk to a local bakery, a bar/restaurant and a Pizza take-away. And Honfleur was only 5 min away by car. You couldn't ask for anything more.

    Nothing, it was just great.

Friendly host, comfortable and well equipped. Nice extra touches like fruit, nuts, sweets, cakes etc in the room.

As I am slightly disabled, I could not use the shower as it was too high up for me to step into.

Lovely place With superb service by the host - Regine. We liked the room With one window to the garden and one to the City. Great place to stay if You are Young couple With the car.

It is not the Honfleur but the city quite far from Honfleur beautiful marina. Not recommended for someone without the vehicle.

Extremely helpful and friendly hosts. Very clean and comfortable room. Ample breakfast tray provided in room. A short car drive from Honfleur with on free road parking. Interesting and attractive decor with lots of French charm.

No access to garden which was private to Gite guests so limited to room only,

Regine is a wonderful host, very aimiable, nothing a problem and very obliging. Room was fine, clean, tidy, en-suite tiny but for 2 nights acceptable. Self service breakfast tray in room was a good idea. Quiet location so a good nights sleep. 5 mins drive to wonderful Honfleur, a must see town for all visitors to Normandy. Overall we were very pleased. Regine speaks some English, but we had great fun speaking our French! Felt most restaurants in Honfleur churned out very similar cuisine, especially around the tourist trap of the quayside, but prices varied hugely. Can recommend Restaurant L'Alcyone next to roundabout near the Tourist Information Centre. Lovely feed, sensible prices, good staff, pleasant ambience. TIP: Menu prices in area all similar but drinks prices vary hugely for the same drinks! Small (25cl / 1/2 a pint) of typical gasey French beer/lager, Amstel/Pelforth etc €2.50 to €5! Pichet of wine (50cl) varied from €6-€10, average quality bottle of wine €15-€20, and it's French costing €3-€4 typically! We know, owning a house in France. Typical 3 course menu de jour plus wine should cost you circa €50-€60 upwards. It is a great town though, lots of character, history, quite arty, so enjoy!

The very expensive taxi fare to Honfleur!! A 3km (2 miles) trip cost €16, each way!! Outrageous for a trip under 5 mins. Dearer than London!! Recently used taxis in Bilbao at 3am during a music festival, 10 mins trip of about 10km (7 miles) cost a mere €8!!

The stay was really nice! It is only 10 min away Hanflour, a beatiful little town full of small restaurants and a seaside. The hots was very freindly and came to say hello and ask if everythnig is in order in the room. The room itself was clean, confortable and full of small romantic touches. The breakfast was included and brought to the room. Even if you feel like it is not enought, there is a shopping mall 7 min by foot. As we stayed one night, it was perfect for us and we really enjoyed it.

The house has it's old charm but it also means the walls are thin. I heard the owners having some late night conversations but I have to admit I am light sleeper.
