This place is very overpriced for what is extremely basic accommodation. The room my husband and I stayed in on the ground floor was very poorly decorated, obviously a long time ago. The ceiling had large cracks on it, the paint work was scraped and chipped, the door handles to the room and to the on suite bathroom (which had no shampoo or shower gel) were very loose and at risk of falling off. It was a very grubby room and to make things worse we found 2 huge spiders in the room! If you are an arachnophobe I would strongly advise against staying here! Strangely there was also a fridge in the room next to the bed which randomly made lots of noise during the night. The floors above creaked noisily as did the stairs whenever the other guests walked around. Breakfast was unsurprisingly very poor consisting basically of chunks of baguette, some unappealing, unidentifiable preserve, a few slices of processed cheese and some plain crepes, there was no jam, no honey, no different cheeses, no meats, no yogurt. During our 3 week trip in France this was the most expensive (160 Euros) and worst place we stayed in. We stayed in many other places for less than half the price which were much nicer, friendlier and had better breakfast. We would advise against staying here, it would be a waste of your money and there appears to be much nicer places available in Bayeux.
The only good thing about the Villa Aggarthi is it's location close to the centre of Bayeux.
The garden is also nice but overgrown.
