The hot water didn't work in our room. We had to move to another one (although the same 'level', the new room was smaller) I asked info about Chateaus and some wine visit and tasting (I guess I wasn't the first tourist in Bordeaux asking that) and they advised me to go to the Tourism Office in the city center. No information

separate bathroom and WC as well as quiet bed room away from the street in the "privilege" category for which we had to pay an extra fee. The room displayed as a picture in booking.com and which was defined and priced as a "superior" room did not match reality. Actually, the room displayed at booking.com as "superior" was a "privilege" room for which we had to pay an extra 10 Eu/day at the hotel. This is not acceptable business ethics. Breakfast room and restaurant have the charm of a "home for the elderly" in Romania of the 1980th. No insult meant to Romania. So expensive room service is mandatory when you do not want to get depressive already in the morning. But breakfast is good

No body cared or offered to help us with our luggage when we arrived despite the fact that there is no elevator from the underground parking. The only thing that mattered was to cash as soon as possible the rooms and get the money from our credit cards. Staff of the restaurant bored and yelling in the kitchen, quality of food very poor. Coffee for breakfast only from a very complicated automatic machine, where 8 out of 10 clients where serving their coffee anywhere but in their cups...

Sadly, there are no redeeming features about our stay at this hotel, The receptionist on our departing day was professional and helpful and complimented our breakfast due to the cold breakfast. The previous night's receptionist changed our room immediately we told him about a large insect in the room. It does have a garage which is why we chose it. The entrance is depressing with poor lighting and inadequete seating. There is nothing welcoming about ariving here. The hallways and bedroom carpets are not pristine and the colourways of the rooms are dingy. The eggs and sausage at breakfast were cool and the staff in the breakfast room are very poorly trained and did not deal with our complaint well.It was nearly as expensive as when we stayed in a 4* in Chartres the following night and everything was amazing. We're sad that the night at this hotel spoilt our trip back from Spain. We ate in Bordeaux because we couldn't face the restaurant there and had to hail a cab halfway through our walk home as it was dark and at least a 20 minute walk in the dark did not appeal.

Closeness to city center. Take bus line 4 in front of hotel and reach center easily. Tv vas very bad. Remote control does not work properly as expected since it has prog +/- and vol. +/- buttons only. However in my friends room he has 42 inch new model philips and sattellite channels:(

Good and nice room, nice bathroom - Very expensive breakfast - I had dinner in the restaurant of the hotel and it was terrible (I came back to this hotel because of the restaurant but the chef was replaced by someone else this year and the food was awful) - very few tv-channels on the room

Modern hotel with secure underground parking which was essential as we were on motorbikes, rooms were decent size and staff very helpful. We eat breakfast in a small cafe a few hundred yards away (turn left and next right) thought breakfast price a bit steep in hotel. It's not too far to walk to nearest tram stop and pleasant walk to town which we prefer as its a good way to explore. Fantastic city. Breakfast pricey

Upon arrival reception was very pleasant and a minor issue in the room was resolved speedily. The Hotel was clean and air conditioned and the room was serviced well everyday. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food especially the Breakfast was very good. There was not enough waiting staff in either the dining area or the Bar which was unmanned for most of the time and it was difficult to get a drink in the evening. Some of the waiting staff had very little English so they could not translate the daily food menus which were written in French. The wi fi coverage was most unsatisfactory and was forever dropping out.
