Château D'artigny  

All my stay were a disaster...First of all, they took a look at my reservation and they said that my room were outside, not in the castle. And when I asked how they know because in my reservation said "In the castle or outside" the said "because I made a reservation in booking.com. By yourself. You not a group. Inside the castle only if you came with a group." I propose to pay the difference but they said that the price was the same, inside or outside the castle. Then they put us in one very small room so far from the castle and we left the hotel in the second day.

The unadulterated splendour, the floral displays, the grounds were stunning. The waiting staff at dinner were good, at breakfast, not so.It is well positioned to visit surrounding towns and villages etc.

The service at breakfast....buffet type..was dreadful. I don't pay that sort of money to serve myself. The tables were left littered with the detritous of other guests for long periods of time. The teabags were terrible. It took around 3 -4 to get a decent cup of tea. As with most buffets the food was lukewarm at best. I was shocked when I realised breakfast was served in such a manner. Not what one expects of such a place All over the hotel are cards asking guests to dress appropriately at dinner and to respect other diners. I do not consider polo shirts and shorts/chinos or open-necked casual shirts and very casual trousers appropriate when one considers the splendour and overall luxurious appearance of the chateau. This was an immense upset. We did dress appropriately, my husband in a suite, shirt and tie and I wore cocktail. It felt more like what I imagine people would wear camping!. The suite was booked as a birthday surpise for my husband. The bathroom, which was large and spacious had 1 small single use bottle of shampoo and shower gel only ,yet it was a suite for 2 and there was a bath and separate shower. The brand of toiletries was poor also. I expected at least Moulton brown or some such equally luxurious brands. There was a bottle of white wine awaiting our arrival which was nicely wrapped but was warm. I had prepayed and booked for a bottle of champagne to be in the suite as a surprise. It wasn't there. I spoke with a Mme Rocher who reduced the bill and who apologised for the immense disappointment felt by us, which was a superb gesture but nothing will compensate for our feelings of disappointment on a very special birthday

We had dinner at the Chateau in the three nights we stayed there. The food was always delicious and the service was outstanding.

The elevator to the second floor was small and slow, the rooms deserved a little more investment considering the prices charged.

I really enjoyed silence in the room and good night sleep after a long trip.

One gets to see it all after a short while, then it feels a little empty. I imagine most of the rooms are used for seminars or parties.

The chateau offers many services such as spa, heated swimming pool (outdoor), tennis courts, fancy restaurant, etc. It is also located in a very nice region where there are many castles to visit.

The room was small and did not meet my expectations (compared to pictures I viewed when I made my booking). I would recommend the luxury rooms and not the regular ones.

Forse un po' di manutenzione in più non guasterebbe. La struttura lo meriterebbe. Ritengo il costo della colazione un po' caro. Si potrebbe ipotizzare una fascia più bassa con una colazione essenziale..

Son élégance luxueuse et son environnement de charme

Nous avons aimé le charme de l'établissement et l'accueil très classe du personnel. A noter que nous avons même eu droit à un surclassement en chambre supérieure sans surcoût et 2 coupes offertes pour 10 min d'attente pour avoir une table au restaurant. Le personnel a été irréprochable.

Le prix des petits déjeuners

A Localização, proximo de tudo na região ( desde que esteja de carro), exelente atendimento dos funcionários. óTimas fotos de paisagens da região do hotel. Vale pela curtição de um Castelo.

O Hotel não é um hotel de luxo e cobra por isso. Tem um exelente prédio que necessita de cuidados e uma boa reforma. No nosso quarto tinha ar condicionado, mas não funcionava. O wifi não funcionava nos quartos, como foi anunciado, tinha que ir até recepção para usar a internet.

Lugar maravilhoso, comida excelente, funcionários atenciosos e gentis, um quarto lindo, foi tudo perfeito! Só fez um pouco de falta o ar condicionado no quarto. O hotel tem ótimo custo benefício e está muito bem situado em relação aos castelos do Loire. Eu me senti uma princesa num conto de fadas.Adorei e recomendo!

Falta ar condicionado nos quartos - o tempo estava fresco e mesmo assim o quarto é abafado, no calor deve ser terrível.

J'ai tout aimé dans cet hôtel, la gentillesse et la disponibilité du personnel; le château situé dans un parc très calme pas très loin des châteaux de la Loire. J'ai aimé le restaurant et le repas du soir.

L'accès au spa avec un prix attractif, le repas gastronomique le soir, le buffet du petit déjeuner, le cadre, la tranquillité, la bouteille offerte
