Magnificent building set in beautiful grounds.Excellent for a stop off as close to Cherbourg and for visting Bayeux and the famous beaches.Good service.When we have stayed here before the food has been very good.However see below. On the night we stayed Monday 11th Sept there was a fixed menu at night.I appreciate many gourmet restaurants close on Mondays and sometimes Tuesdays but they are missing a trick during the summer months.Further we arrived at lunch and there was no food at all !! |

Schitterende omgeving, mooie kasteeltuinen, rustig gelegen. Voor de liefhebber van lekker eten zit er een goed restaurant in het kasteel (wel redelijk prijzig en formeel) Het ruikt enigzins muf en de bedden zijn aan de harde kant |

Todo. Es precioso, las instalaciones son fantasticas, tiene todo tipo de detalles (albornoces, etc...), la amplitud de las habitaciones, los salones comunes, los jardines, la piscina, el silencio....... El desayuno demasiado caro hasta para un hotel como este y tampoco era nada del otro mundo, pero quien se resiste a desayunar en un sitio como este? |

Prachtige omgeving, een goed onderhouden kasteel met alle gewenste faciliteiten. Wij gingen aanvankelijk voor een wat goedkopere kamer, die bleek echter overboekt, en we kregen zomaar een luxe suite aangeboden. Dat is klasse zoals je die verwacht. Het ontbijt à 26 euro p.p. is wel heel erg prijzig |

Prachtige omgeving, zeer mooi onderhouden kasteel met prachtige tuinen. Kamers perfect in orde, dagelijks onderhoud, zeer vriendelijk personeel. Ideale start voor verkenning van Normandië. Vrij dure ontbijtformule : 26 euro pp/d voor beperkt buffet. |

Das Frühstück was toll, der Pool kann rund um die Uhr benutzt werden, sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter, das erste Hotel in Frankreich mit MiniBar. Essen im Hotel was sehr teuer (56 oder 99 € für das Abendmenü), mehr was für Gourmet-Touristen, Frühstück war sehr gut aber mit 26 € p. P. auch das teuerste was ich je hatte, etwas überzogen der Preis. Ansonsten etwas leblos weil wenig los war und der Ort ist auch ziemlich abgelegen, man muss nach Bayeux fahren um etwas zu essen. |

Très belle arrivée face au château, passage devant les jardins impeccablement entretenus. Très bon accueil avec un accompagnement jusqu'à la chambre. Aucune remarque négative concernant le confort de la chambre. Le plus a été de pouvoir profiter de la piscine qui est parfaitement intégrée dans ce cadre historique. Enfin le bar d'une déco très moderne est en parfaite harmonie avec le château. Le bruit le matin dans les couloirs |

Een origineel chateau uit de klassieke architectuur tijd op een redelijk originele wijze gerestaureerd en beheerd. Voor mij als architect een belevenis. Zal er graag weer naar toe gaan in die buurt. |
