Architecturally an authentic beautifully restored Chateaux with a wonderful garden. V. peaceful at night with a gourmet restaurant if you should want to book there. No services to the rooms at all. No availability for coffee/tea on waking in the morning. Did not make the breakfast once !

We came to the Chateau with high expectations and were greatly disappointed. The hospitality and warmth that we expect from a hotel of this category were not in evidence at all. No staff were around to assist when we had questions or could not find our way back to our rooms, the original room assigned was not an option given my husband is 6'3" and ceiling beams were far below his height and would have made an overnight stay in a dark room dangerous. We were reluctantly shown another room (the employee kept saying we had requested air conditining- when we thought th enetire hotel wou ldbe airconditioned) and were charged a great deal more.We have tayed in some of the finest Chateus around France have nevr had an experience such as this. Dinner at the hotel was excelkentm but all else far below the expectatins for the rates charged. Susan Landau

Very picturesque setting and friendly staff. It would be difficult to stay at this hotel without your own rental car, given the somewhat remote location. That is not necessarily a criticism, as some travelers prefer this, but it would be important to know this before you arrive. Unless you plan to eat every meal in the haute- cuisine restaurant (with its multi-course dinners & expensive prices), then you have no other eating alternatives, unless you can drive to nearby towns.

The food was excellent and the chateau breathtaking We never received our wake up call the first morning although it was confirmed the night before. We therefore missed our morning scedule. The staff was not overly apologetic and i called to have coffee delivered to our room as we rushed to get on schedule and the coffee was never delivered. I was disapointed in their lack of concern for our situation based on the hotel's error. There is no clock in the room so the wake up call is imperitive.

Gourmet Essen war sehr gut. Die neue Bad ist auch sehr schön nur ein bissen zu eng. Garten ist super schön. Gibt mann eine Gefühl dass wirklich in Schloss wohen. Ich reise oft im Schloss in Frankreich, aber die Preis in Chateau Audieu ist einbissen zu hoch für die Zimmer. Mann hat eine Gefühl wir bezahlen die Preis für die Garten aber nicht die Zimmer. Zimmer Einrichtung ist sehr simple. Es passt nicht zu den Bild in Internet.

Belle propriété aux abords très bien entretenus. Accueil très professionnel. Piscine très agréable et vaste domaine pour promenades. Nos amis les animaux sont les bienvenus. Le restaurant étoilé vaut le détour ! Excellent service dans une salle prestigieuse avec vue sur le Parc et sur l'entrée du château. Notre chambre n°24 au éième étage (mansardée) était un peu petite pour un 4 étoiles. Garde robe ridicule et rien pour poser ses bagages. Une salle de bain sans armoire vous oblige à laisser vos effets sur la tablette ou dans vos sacs....
