Château D'igé is located in the south of the wine region of Burgundy in the Màconnais area, just outside of Màcon. It offers 4-star accommodations and free Wi-Fi internet access. All of the individually decorated rooms have a private shower or bath and TV. Several of them have 4-poster canopy beds. At the Château D'igé guests are invited to relax in the winter garden or out on the terrace. In the warmer months, the terrace is a lovely place to dine. The restaurant uses its fresh garden vegetables to prepare gourmet traditional and regional cuisine. Mâconnais is a region covered with rolling hills, vineyards, woods and meadows. Hotel Rooms: 16

A well run, pretty hotel in a picture perfect country side setting. We had a 2 story tower room, with glorious and sumptious furnishings, lovely bedding and complete privaty and silence. Everything was perfectly clean and worked. The restaurant was cosy and the food good but a little underseasoned but good to look at. Breakfast was Ok but nothing to write home about.

I have stayed in quite a few hotels in Burgundy on the way South to my house in Provence. The Chateau d'Ige is certainly one of the best. The service was first class and extremely polite and friendly. The room was excellent with a charming present of homemade biscuits and very modern bathroom. The dinner was fabulous and fantastic value for 32 euros. Shall definitely stay there again. No complaints whatsoever.

The garden and grounds of the Chateau were amazing. The pictures online didn't do the place justice even thought they looked nice. We were very pleasantly surprised. We loved it. In addition to this, the drive to the chateaux was gorgeous. It way off the beaten path but the drive through the countryside of the surrounding wine region was great. The only downside is there is nothing to do in the area. We we only there for 1 night and were fine with that. We even wanted to stay another night but they were sold out. Beyond 2 nights and I would have gotten bored, but this all depends on what you are looking for.

Camera molto grande e ben curata. Attenzioni nei confronti degli ospiti (in mancanza del frigo bar, era sempre presente acqua minerale nella stanza), tranquillita' ambienti esterni ed interni, ristorante con ottima cucina curata anche nei particolari,disponibilita' del personale di servizio (trovati a mia insaputa vetri dell'auto lavati ! dopo il viaggio d'arrivo)

Etablissement avec beaucoup de charme et un acceuil soigné et prévenant.Situation agréable et calme dans village harmonieux.Joli jardin.Parking sécurisé pour voitures ... et on lave le pare-brise pour vous avant départ! A recommander assurément. Attention personnes agées :pas d'ascenseur mais un escalier en colimaçon d'époque.

Calme et sérénité. Accueil très agréable par Mme Faucon (propriétaire) ainsi que tout le personnel de l'établissement. Nous avons eu plaisir à découvrir la cuisine du chef Olivier Pons. La carte est au gout de chacun proposant des menus variés. Parfaite alliance du XIIIe et de la modernité.

Hemos regresado despues de 30 años, el hotel a crecido, pero a pesar de ello, mantiene el mismo aire, de lujo y el romantisismo de un castillo. Muy bien ubicado en una zona aun tranquila.Con una excelente atencion persolalizada de la Directora.

Aardige ontvangst, uitstekend restaurant, prachtige torenkamer en een zeer interessante tuin. Parkeren geen probleem. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding uitmuntend. Zeer de moeite waard om hier te overnachten Er is geen lift, maar er wordt wel hulp geboden bij het dragen van de koffers.

Ambiente fantastico, gentilezza squisita, una junior suite da sogno (in una torre del xiii secolo). E un ottimo ristorante, a costi accettabili vista l'eccellente qualità dei piatti. Insomma, uno chateau di lusso nel quale ti trovi come a casa tua! Manca la piscina, ma poco importa

Alles, Wij werden zelfs welkom geheten door eigenaresse! Hebben grootste moeite gehad om het te vinden vanaf Cluny en de twee trappen (geen lift) was voor ons zwaar.
