Château d'Ygrande (亚加德城堡酒店)  

Difficult to find but a very nice location out in the countryside and a grand chateau with nice rooms and good views.

Unfortunately the hotel did not have our booking and although they had one room left we had to wait while it was prepared. Next there was no hot water which they said was due to a problem with the boiler and would be ok in half an hour or so. After an hour I had a cold shower and went down to dinner which was fine. The following morning there was still no hot water. Not the standard we were lead to expect and not good after a full days travel

the toilet compartment was so small if you were bigger than usual you couldnt get your arms down by your sides and the door had been removed because there wasnt enough room to close when the toilet was in use

The people that run this hotel are wonderful and it was my second stay - the first being 10 years ago. Special mention goes to the cuisine which is excellent. The two Weimerana dogs belonging to the proprietor were very entertaining when we had our walk around the grounds down to the lake - so beautiful! Our stay was in some ways the highlight to round off a two week touring holiday. If you like rustic Chateau charm, and are not fussed about modern hotel facilities this is one to try out. We also visited Maison Mantin a few minutes down the road in Moulin and that was a treat.

I think they have spoiled the look of the hotel by putting a horse excercise area right at the front. The bedroom facilities including ensuites need a revamp. However this did not spoil our feelings for the place.

l'ambiance chaleureuse et proffessionelle.une cuisine savoureuse. un cadre de reve si on aime les chevaux. un endroit très agréable ,j'y retournerai,c'est évident!

Personnel disponible et accueillant

Decoration et aménagement intérieur décalé avec l'accroche du site. Tarif prohibitif compte tenu de l'équipement et la décoration de la chambre.

Voortreffelijk diner!

Slechte bediening met name een jonge serveerster waar ik drie maal moest vragen om een consumptie. Toen het mij te gortig werd en ik naar de keuken liep en ik haar wederom aansprak kreeg ik een smoes dat het niet meer in huis was. Triest! P.S. Bedlinnengoed kraakte erg en één laken voor twee personen dat slaapt onrustig

Une belle propriété, avec beaucoup de charme, dans un très beau parc avec piscine. Une belle vue sur le bocage bourbonnais. Très silencieux, idéal pour un weekend de repos.

Le personnel est nombreux mais certains n'ont pas le niveau ou la formation pour travailler dans ce genre d'établissement. Le restaurant affiche des prix parisiens qui ne sont pas justifiés ni par la qualité du service et ni par la qualité des mets servis.
