Really enjoyed our stay at the Chateau. Wonderful place, so tranquil and relaxing. The restaurant was superb as was the food, highly recommended. Would definitely stay here again.

Outside there is a lovely seated area with duck pond.

Room rather small and the toilet was a cupboard. When we asked for a table for dinner we were told it was not possible. This was at 6 30 pm . Had to drive out to get a meal.

It is a beautiful property and well maintained. The staff in the restaurant are knowledgable and very friendly.

I found it difficult to connect to their wifi.

Great location, quiet but walking distance to town. Very pretty and tranquil grounds.

There was nobody there to greet or register us. We had to Shanghai someone from the kitchen to give us a key and show us to our room.

The park surrounding the hotel is quite nice. There are rooms in the main bulding and in another one .. so check. Good breakfast.

The center is in a walking distance but there others hotels much closer.

The ambience of the Château, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The location - out of the centre yet so near to all the attractions of Bayeux. Would definitely stay again and would recommend this hotel to family members and friends.

The only flaw was that only one waitress was on duty at breakfast and consequently was not always alert to shortages of hot food and bread when they arose.

A good location within easy walking distance to the Bayeux cathedral and centre. Not the nicest walk after dark, but manageable. Lovely garden with ample opportunities for relaxation, watching the fishes and birds in the water or perhaps have a tennis match. Superb large room with all the old luxurious castle decoration details you'd expect, combined with a very elegant newly decorated bathroom. Everything fresh and spotlessly cleaned. Very welcoming common areas, with a good restaurant on-site. The lobster is excellent. One of the few hotels we stayed at which actually had an elevator! And that says it all - all the elegance and ambience of before, with the convenience of today.

Comfortable room, large spa in ensuite, all set in a beautiful building on the outskirts, but only a few minutes drive to central Bayeaux. Chateau has beautiful gardens to sit in and relax.

Easy to walk into town to see the tapestry, cathedral etc. But feels almost rural.

Beautiful relaxed setting and grounds some lovely rooms.

More staff are needed at this hotel and it would be better. Communication was poor between staff Therefore eassentail information such as being gluten free did not get through or sorted! English speaking was highlighted as a perk but was most defiantly not the case!! Numerous emails regarding our special reason for staying at the hotel a 40th wedding celebration had not been understood and was very difficult to organise once there. The hotel charge 5 star prices with 3 star quality!!!! Such a shame as it had huge potential to be fantastic!!!

Fabulous location & extremely helpful staff. Breakfast was very enjoyable with great variety.

Minor point was the WiFi which was patchy. This wasn't important as there is a lot too see in Bayeux & WiFi was only needed to check ferry information!

If your visiting Bayeaux or Normandy, this is a beautiful setting close to downtown Bayeaux. The hotel has beautiful rooms and grounds. I would highly recommend it.

Food good. Staff friendly. Nice bedroom.

Bit too pricey. Not sure if it should be a three star?
