Château de Boissimon

Absolutely everything! Especially the owners who are an extremely friendly couple.

It was all we expected, the most charming and helpful hosts, in the countryside, could not have wished for any better stay in a French Chateau the had been meticulously restored to its former glory and typical homestyle french breakfast. Being in he country we had to travel about 10kms to a; just as beautiful restaurant 'Hotel Pelican, for a delightful evening meal (booked for us by our hosts. Go again, most certainly and sat longer.

Nothing really, but f you are thinking of booking you just need to research on road directions to get there.

We were greeted by our wonderful hosts who welcomed us into their stunning home, your privacy was respected and your every need was met, the chateau itself was stunning and the rooms were out of this world with designer interiors with no expense sparred in restoring them while being respectful of the chateau's historical integrity, every room in the chateau is absolutely stunning!!! Not to mention the delicious breakfast served in the beautiful breakfast room, don't miss a stay at Chateau Boissimon you won't regret it!!!

Nothing

The castle is truly beautiful and the room was one of the finest we've ever stayed in - all at a very reasonable price. The couple who own this magnificent place were the perfect hosts - extremely helpful in sorting out information on the area, including horse riding places, wine-tasting etc. They gave us details of some excellent vineyards.

There are only 2 restaurants in the immediate area and one was closed. The place we ate at on the first night looked a little shabby, but the food was excellent - and the chateau is still close enough to nearby places like Saumur that it's not a problem. Plus, it was great being out in that beautiful countryside.

It was just perfect for my wife and I. We were attending a wedding in a town close by and found CdeB on the internet. To be honest the pictures and the description did not do it justice. Beautifully chosen furniture and fabrics gave it a feel of ones own friend's house. The room was spotless, a big bed with perfect linen, and lots of hot water in the shower or bath. The service was impeccable, beautiful French breakfast served until 10am. Just sublime. Neil Richardson

A lovely peaceful setting where we were invited to enjoy outside swimming pool or relax beside it on loungers throughout the day. Delicious breakfasts, delightfully presented, which always defeated us and were served outdoors when weather permitted. Rooms have themed decor....and plenty of space.

Directions to site are not to scale and could be improved. Modern rectangular sink designed without a removable plug - rather a frustrating way of wasting water.

Great atmosphere in the middle of the French heartland. Comfortable and tastefully arranged rooms. Charming hosts making our stay unforgetable.

getting there took some homework. I had to map the directions from the bookings.com to my GPS (which could not find the address).

путешествовали двумя семьями с детьми. великолепное место, понравилось буквально все. удобные номера, трепетное отношение. было полное ощущение, что мы приехали в гости, а не в отель.

De gastvrijheid was van een geweldig niveau! Hier word je ontvangen door een echtpaar dat er alles aan doet om je verblijf te veraangenamen. Ze regelen meer dan je durft te vragen. Het chateau is prachtig gerestoreerd ook de details zijn perfect. Er ligt bij het chateau een bos dat goed begaanbaar was en waar ook wild rond liep.

Fantastisch logement! Vivre "comme Dieu en France!" Uitstekende ontvangst, zalig zwembad en heerlijk ontbijt in de binnentuin van het kasteel! Een aanrader

Les hôtes ont été très accueillants et très sympathiques. Le château est très joliment aménagé et le parc extérieur est spacieux et joli. La chambre était très belle et très confortable. Le petit-déjeuner était servi dans une courette charmante.

Bel accueil dans un cadre idyllique

Très bel endroit, et parc agréable. Un petit château restauré dans les règles de l'art. Une déco "Coté Ouest" dans un genre flamant, confortable et très raffiné. Les chambres sont "cosy". Excellent petit déjeuner avec jus d'orange frais et petites viennoiseries. Seul hic : on n'a pas envie de ressortir le soir d'autant que les restaurants alentour sont rares et Saumur est à 20 mn).

La réalité du site et de l'équipement qui correspondait à la description. L’accueil d'une femme charmante passionnée par les contacts et le service qu'elle effectue. Le calme du lieu et la déco très sobre et appropriée.

Un cadre idyllique pour se reposer et ressourcer en pleine forêt. Un accueil très chaleureux de la part des hôtes qui font preuve d'une grande disponibilité pour que votre séjour se déroule au mieux.

Tout était parfait à commencer par l'accueil chaleureux des propriétaires. Cadre et chambres magnifiques. Petit déjeuner excellent.

Les propriétaires sont aux petits soins. Le cadre extérieur et intérieur est magnifique et calme. Moment de détente garantie. La chambre est spacieuse.Notre fille avait sa propre chambre, elle a adoré. Les petits déjeuners sont excellents.

Venus un week end de pluie, un petit peu de chauffage aurait été bienvenu. Un petit chauffage soufflant serait à ce moment là utile dans la salle de bain. Pas de télé dans la chambre mais bon, on a pu largement s'en passer.
